I would rather engage in pointless banter about actual game issues (like customizations or pay2win vs not), than to listen to another basement dweller give us their opinion on the game.

To bad none of them have ever made content for wow oh wait I have no clue how to make games. I just make youtube videos using blizz for money. No streamer has a clue what’s put into making games never did it dumb as us but hey they know everything. About as dumb as gamer magazine critics it’s quite humorous. If you think you can do better have it learn it go do better or whine on forums saying I know how to fix games. Alot crying for getting 17yrs of enjoyment from the only mmo that is even considered successful. And btw your still playing so it can’t be to bad right?

A lot of people are subscribed to WoW who should never have been playing it in the first place.
You ask them what they don’t like about WoW, and they list things that have been central to the gameplay since the beginning.
You ask them to describe an era in WoW’s past when they were happy, and they’ll come up with some fantasy scenario about a previous expansion that doesn’t fit the facts of how the expansion actually worked. It’s lunacy.
I don’t know why they subscribe just to complain they hate the game, but they do. /shrug

I understand where you are coming from.
But again, I’m not painting all complaints, nor people under a general brush… for every 3 complaints that maybe teeters on perhaps being disillusioned on how things really were several years ago, there is another 3 that have a general understanding of things of the past and honesty that they perhaps liked it better then than it is now.
Brushing it off as ‘’ it’s always been this way’’ or ‘‘core to mmos’’ as others do is ignoring the fact that it could be better, improved upon etc… and some weird belief that ion and co cannot do any wrong since they are following said mmo template.

I agree. What I don’t get is calling them “content creators” If all they’re doing is showing themselves play and making comments, then everyone on the forums are “content creators” except for the in game footage which i can see for myself in game.
Who I really respect and consider a content creator is that guy who makes those animated shorts on youtube. If he left the game, that would be a sad loss!
They all leave because they don’t attract viewers anymore because of the crowd mentality. And then give all negative reviews while totally ignoring the good things in an effort to keep their current viewers to whatever new hype they’re gonna play.
I started tanking more this expac. I came across his videos. Really like his stuff. He definitely loved wow.
It’s an end of an era IMO. Wow content creation will never be the same.
The game won’t die. It won’t be fixed unless they bring in someone like ffxiv brought someone in.
That’s only if wow stops making up money from the cash shop and token sales to cover the reduction of player base.

Need more “influencers” gone so actual gamers will be the majority of the player base again instead of brainwashed sheep who hang on the every word of self-righteous streamers who demand every thing be as they want it.

The hidden quest lines! I think there is a wow secret page or something. I did a few with my family. The best one was this auto-generated labyrinth! You get a void unicorn mount at the end of it!
