I know it is a weird concept but
Dead characters that have completed their arcs should remain dead.

Yeah I miss Arthas, and Varian. I wouldn’t/don’t miss Illidan though. He’s icky.

In Fantasy/SiFi there is no such thing as permanently killing a character. You can always bring them back. They have already established that time travel is part of the Azeroth universe, we have bronze dragons and an entire time travel expansion.
They can also decide that the realm of death is multi layered and that once a soul is killed in SL it is sent of to Oblivion which is another place we go to solve what ever problems they have there.
As an example of Fantasy/SiFi death, I believe that over the course of Star Trek TNG, Picard was killed three or four times and was alive again by the end of the show.

he should never have come back, look what happened in shadowlands… that’s why you should never bring characters back, the writers are incompetent, only Illidan was good but it was legion, wow lore died with him

Yes it is your opinion. I’ve been having this discussion for quite some time and I’m still waiting for someone to give us a reason why Shadowlands being bad is fact and not opinion.
And don’t get me wrong, you and others are entitled to your opinions, just as I am entitled to my opinion. I liked Shadowlands, it was one of my favorite expansions.
no its not sl is officially the worst expansion in the history of the game, the worst period wow as ever been, the most negative feedback ever, are you for real
they bring back a character, he said nothing, he appears as a cloud that dissipates himself and thats it, you think its good writing? no, he should have never come back
now this is a opinion, bad taste exists, you’re allowed to have one, but the majority of the game hated SL and you need to accept it

No that is your opinion. Other people are amazed by it because it was not just us just discovering a former hidden island who knows where we couldn’t reach because of reasons™ and greatly expanding the cosmic lore of it all.
That uh…so super heaven (for lack of a better term) is a thing in lore iirc. There’s the shadowlands and then there’s a step above that. I can’t remember what it is called. Realistically they could do it, I mean hell they could just have us yoink him from an alternate timeline…or go back to when we beat the Lich King and take dead Uther with us to scold the other dead Uther. There’s a million ways they could go about anything, but actually doing it is where the brain starts to lock up.
Ok prove it. If you say SL being bad is fact and not opinion you need to have proof.
