Gonna be shaman im guessing, with the earth tank spec
Bard.
Tank spec: Heavy Metal.
Melee DPS: Hard Rock.
Healer/support: Classical
Ranged DPS: Tenacious D.
I still firmly believe a Shaman should have already had an Earth based tanking spec. It makes sense to me anyway.
maybe tmr or saturday we will get some kind of grand reveal.
not likely tho
Shaman, Death Knight, Paladin are the closest there will ever be.
Honest answer? Just have final fantasy 14 (or guild wars 2 if the feature increases metrics) do it, and the wow team will steal it within the next 4 years and either totally bungle it (deep dungeons into torghast, fractals into mythic plus) or fix all its problems (skyscale/gryphon riding into dragon riding, fractals into mythic plus).
you’ll notice I mentioned guild wars 2 fractals into mythic plus as both ruined and fixed by the wow team via mythic plus. when mythic plus released it fixed a lot of the problems fractals had, but ruined the things fractals did well; and then slowly but surely ruined the good things about mythic plus to hit metrics, leaving only activision-esque ruins in its wake.
which is ironic because ff14 has consistently been “wow but from 6 years ago” since 2.0 and gw2 has consistently been “wow but everything is the exact opposite” since its release, all copying even wow’s mistakes without a single hint of irony or self-reflection.
There are a few classes one step away from being the All-in-one class.
Id say Shaman just needs a tank role.
Pally needs a ranged
MNK Needs a ranged as well
Closest would be shaman. In vanilla they already had tanking talents and abilities. They already have melee, caster, healer rolls.
I can see them tanking with a shield and have totems to support the team. And even have a better earth elemental
Shaman could pull it off as they already have a healer (water), melee (air) and caster (fire). All they need now is an earthen tank.
Doing DPS through other people is the definition of being a support, so, once again, if you’re looking for ways to make aug not be a support, this will not be part of it.
No need to respond again.
If our next class is cloth, I assume they’ll be support/healer/dps but no tank.
Shaman. They deleted the tank concept in Vanilla.
I actually tanked SM: Cath on my Shaman in Classic. Probably the proudest moment for me in WoW, I always wanted to tank on Shaman since Vanilla.
If Blizzard ever attempts to add more specs to existing classes in WoW, I could easily see Shamans getting a 4th spec, either tank or support.
Diamond skin tank spec when.
Pandaren(tiger feral, ox tank, crane boomkin, serpent flight)
You’re right because you’re hard stuck on semantics and are completely close minded.
It’s actually baffling to me anyone can think the way you do.
The fact that you don’t get that we’re talking about two different things is what’s truly baffling. Go away.
We’re not though, you’re just hard stuck that buffing player to do damage = support when that’s an over simplification of what support is.
You being close minded doesn’t mean we’re talking about 2 different things. You want to blow up the spec so that it’s not “support” when it doesn’t need blown up at all to remain designed from a playstyle exactly like it is today and balanced.
Whats its melee spec?
I would think Monk or Paladin would be contenders.
