go to bed and play tomorrow, it’s going to be fine I promise
Doesnt sound like any consequences to those who bought or sold boons today.
Please open TBC servers already (start from lvl 1), like this we are done with chronoboon dramas
and stupid honor threshold
Or for those who shared SoD world buffs with anniversary players who logged off after exiting battleground
anniversary [Chronoboon Displacer] have vendor price of 20silver
the SOD boons sell for 1or 2 silver vendor price.
you can see if you have vendor price addons
Yeah, getting the honor cap is going to be harder to do now. Was already a small window, and now it will be smaller still.
It takes 5 hours to cap honor for the week in AV youll be fine dog
The players who sold them on the AH knew they were exploiting, too. Doesn’t make sense that some people should just bite it while others benefit.
You think 5 hours of AV to cap honor this week is a small window?
you wont cap in 5 hrs. def wont cap rep
Another exploit early get rich all them people keepig gold thanks blizzard
Without some punishment for the people that exploited the bug it’s exactly like you’re condoning it.
This is utterly ridiculous. So you will penalize the BUYERS on the AH who already purchased these, but what are you doing about the people who knowingly purchased them with the express intent of reselling them on the AH? they just walk with their profits?
Unreal.
it’s been always like this for the past 20 years in all blizzard’s games
massive exploiters get benefits from such bugs and they never lose those benefits.
How about all the other questions we’ve been waiting a month + for updates on?
It was 30mins…no1 made thousands
iirc in classic player-applied buffs are checked when a raid boss is pulled and if the player who applied them isn’t in your group they’re removed so the world buffs won’t matter
So the 17,000 honor I got for one match will stay?
This is modern Blizzard. They’ll do the absolute minimum required to get things going at the detriment of the customer experience. That’s how it goes with all companies that are beholden to shareholders. Just look at the state of WoW and how it’s changed since Wrath, it’s all about constant dopamine hits to keep people addicted to make more money. I can’t see much difference watching clips of people playing Retail compared to playing a slot machine. Example here, like what even is this? It’s big numbers and flashy effects to keep people addicted to a Chinese mobile game.
It’s obvious the devs post-Wrath started to really question “How can we keep people addicted to the game?” because of the drop in sub count. Instead of considering “Well maybe people are burnt out balancing their lives and expansions that come out every two years and we killed off the big villain Arthas so now need to bring back Deathwing who most people who didn’t play Warcraft II never would’ve heard of are partly why the game is dying” and working towards fixing those issues they simply thought “No, we just need to make the game more addictive so people don’t leave”.
Highly likely they hired psychologists or something and realised that one aspect of it was that people love seeing big numbers and crits come up on the screen so they pushed for higher numbers. Then they realised people like seeing flashy effects so they upped all the effects. Then they realised that people want to hit max level faster (and I’m really feeling it, hitting 30 in Classic was a slog for me even though I haven’t played WoW seriously since Wrath, I have no idea how people are 60 already on the fresh servers). Then they realised that people love getting good loot so made all the loot more powerful. It’s the same strategy the guy who created Vampire Survivors applied, he worked on slot machines so knew what people got addicted to which is partly why that game blew up too.
I made 4800g.
I’m good for awhile.
