Some people’s only goal in life seems to be arguing on the World of Warcraft forum. They’re still playing this game to this day.

The GDKP posters must be despite the ban. But WoW’s got a reputation of people hard stuck into their subscription to their uncaring corporate master. Scrapping by with whatever they can justify it with.
I do agree that anyone who has made more than 1 gdkp or anti gdkp topic on the forums should probably find a hobby.
We don’t need 10+ topics at once. They’ve been doing this since TBC Classic at least.

It depends, but you’re right, I don’t typically encounter such nonsensical ideas in my personal life since I tend to keep smart company, so no, I have no reason to “act” like this irl.
Of course raiding is part of the game.
Some players insisting on being paid gold in order to raid Blizz has decided is not good for the game.
So it sounds like you need to accept that.
I would prefer they allow us to gdkp during tbc anniversary. I believe there is a chance for them to reverse the ban decision. So I share my thoughts when I see new/active threads on the topic.
But I have accepted the decision and I will still be playing for TBC. Just not as much as I want to because I refuse to pug in non gdkp raids.

This is most people I talk to that actually play the game, no raiding alts this time around due to the ban.
Meanwhlie the guild I’m in we’re all rocking 2-3 alts and have multiple raid teams filled with them. Not everybody is a scumbag.

This is the way, and what most players do.
A small handful saying they refuse to pug without the prospect of a big cut of RMT gold isn’t the compelling argument they think it is. It merely demonstrates the damage GDKPs did, and why Blizz was right to ban them.

We will be running multiple raids with alts as well.
But there is a limit, for people who want to play 10+ alts it’s unreasonable and unlikely that any guild will schedule that many runs.
Fixed. Don’t really care about the cut it’s just a tool to bid on gear and it’s scalable. Most gdkp actually prefer if RMT didn’t exist. It would be cheaper to gear your alts through gdkp and the AH if rmt was gone.
