[Anniversary] Bugs blizzard still refuses to fix

you’re really still going to argue this? hilarious but sure here’s a screenshot of my bags:

[link was supposed to be here]

I don’t see why my bank is relevant when we’re talking about items I’m using IN warsong, meaning they need to be in my inventory.

edit: nvm, I can’t include links in my post apparently…

edit2: actually just type this into your browser:

go to imgur . com then add /8YLAwZb to the end of the url

It never, ever snows in Dun Morogh Immersion? Nostalgia? Nope!

bumping because honestly if blizzard isn’t going to do anything I might just keep making a post about this every week out of spite

This should make it easier for people.

Not sure you’re right about this. I haven’t tested in a while but I remember testing it on my own private 1.12 client and if I recall correctly blizzard did put you in combat. It also ticked the slow immediately instead of having a delay.

I’ve seen people say this but it in fact does not. I know for a fact that if I blink from a charge I can get intercepted immediately and it will not make me immune. Definitely does not work the same way that imp sprint does. If a rogue vanishes I cannot immediately nova or cone him out of stealth. He is immune for somewhere between 1-2 seconds.

I have played both sides of the blink immune, on my mage right now. You just don’t notice unless you get stunned. Nades however do not count as the stun if that makes any sense… Nades are sorta strange. The 1.12 “server” client is running slightly different version of WoW (game rules) than later versions. I think the Mangos server is roughly based on 1.1 so very early rules set. This is why on Mangos servers there is no leeway mechanics either.

What I mean by game rules is things like what puts you into combat, out of combat, how certain interactions work etc. Example right now on “Era” we use the TBC PVP out of combat timer that’s roughly 7 sec after a PVP kill for you drop combat and eat. Where as real vanilla from 1.0 to 1.12.2 was instant drop after PVP kill and 5 sec after stopping PVP contact. On Era after stopping contact its RNG from 5.5 to 7 sec.

Blink out of charge to get intercepted there is still enough of delay for you to get intercepted, where its noticed is when a mage blinks and you cheap shot / HoJ him because he just blinked too you and you see “immune” when you know he’s not on DR.

You’re a deadly fella on that mage of yours. =)

yea maybe there is a blink immunity window that I’m just not seeing, I just know that I cannot reliably blink a charge stun and then immune the intercept right after, but a rogue can imp sprint any slow and the window for immunity feels pretty large, even when waiting on a gcd.

thanks :D. I’ve got a 60 alli mage now, working on gearing that too!

Hell ya! I am ranking my mage now; mostly being a pest and sheeping everyone I can possibly sheep as they go past the Icwing. Only have 275 spell power this being up from 202 last week.

I have… too many, max level mages that I will swap around on to PvP, not going to claim to be as exhaustively knowledgeable as Bpr, but can confirm what cezar means. I have used blink immunity in dungeons and raiding to avoid CC. Can also confirm its far more lenient for imp sprint.

Blizzard not putting you in combat has long been a thing I’ve noticed in AV as I’m a notorious imp blizzard spammer on melee and I can drink/eat at any time. Whether its true to vanilla, I cannot recall.

yea there are pros and cons to the blizzard thing not getting you in combat. obviously you can drink right away but it also means you can be sapped while casting blizzard in bgs. not really sure that was intended.
