Is there a way to turn off chat text of your emotes so you can perform animated emotes with the animation only and not the “Pookamhura says no way not going to happen” text when all I want to do is animate a simple “no”.
The chat duplicate of the animated gestures gets very tedious very quickly.
I feel like there used to be an option at some point, but it doesn’t exist anymore… or maybe I’m just getting it confused with FFXIV, since I know that game has that option.
I don’t believe that’s an option aside from like /train unless there’s an addon for it, never heard of it being one at least.
Yeah I knew it’s a FFXIV feature, I was hoping that WoW had something similar since I like using animated emotes to mime, but alas it seems that’s not an option.
Would be swell if the devs could make that an option. It would also be really swell if they could actually create a unique animation for each emote in the game instead of doubling up on the emotes.
At the very least allow us the option of moving the emotes into their own window outside the general chat like we can with trade chat, etc.
