This!! Honestly it’s the only time I liked doing wq’s is when Legion invasions, and faction assaults were added! Would upvote your post a hundred more times, if I could. Heck call them Maw invasions, or forsworn/ Mawsworn (whatever those things from the Maw are called) assaults. And yeah it would definitely make the horrible Threads Of Fate feature more bearable. I still regret choosing that on some toons, because it so much slower leveling than doing the boring storyline quests.

Its amazing how out of touch you guys are and how you are destroying this expansion by choice. You want to make the game better? Unlock covenants, add x10 the anima, up the rewards in m+, add more loot to raids.

The 1K per week does not get added until you turn in the quest, if you hold onto it till 1k, maybe thats why? Dunno.

It still doesn’t come FROM the quest. It’s collected by other means - raids, dungeons, and WQ - to fulfill the quest. So it can’t be counted as a source of anima, period.
Another QoL change that should have been in from the start!
A pittance and pathetic response, but it will keep the devs giddy with their continued cluelessness.

This is awesome news, as that’s more or less what I was doing on each alt, unlocking the first tier of each one, then the second, as to me that made the most sense, so going to make my life easier for sure.

Logged on last night and got the tier 1 and tier 2achievements on log in. Decided to do the tour of anima WQs on my map and got over 2500 anima in an hour. Maldraxxas had almost 1000 anima on the map alone.
It is quite a significant boost, more than I thought. I think it is because the anima quests that used to give just 1 item (the WQs I wouldn’t do as not worth the effort) now gave me 3 items. That is 3 times the anima in these cases, and twice the anima for the WQs that used to give just 2.
There is nothing wrong with having something to work towards in the long term. The problem with kids these days! No long term vision! Off my lawn!
I can probably bang out the rank 3 champion table upgrade in 2-3 days now, starting from 5000 anima. Feels good, thanks Blizzard!

I doubt most people chose upgrades like that as the rewards are so varied. I’m venthyr and quickly figured out that upgrading my travel network gave me the biggest bang for my buck - both access to a cosmetic set (that didn’t cost anima just daily mirror grinding) and access to Torgast. After that I upgraded my Ember Court to 4 as that’s the second biggest bang for buck when it comes to grinding out the outfit.
The remaining 2 are next to useless. One gives a bit of anima (more now so fair), the other speeds up the rate my mission table completes and recovers. And, spoilers, the mission table is pretty useless. It’s the kind of thing I generally set once a day and ignore - my troops are between 40-45 and I still am stuck on the harder campaign missions. So I’ve kind of… forgotten about it as a feature.

Mission table feels like a massive afterthought. Like someone said “we’re short on time, we already have the mission table from previous expansions, lets just copy and paste a few things”
