Yes 9.1 did give more anima but that has no bearing on the incorrectness of the other post. I have little time to play and still did everything for my covenant pre-9.1.
It’s something like 150k but just doing the anima world quests and some missions (not much time at all really) nets you 2-3k a day. At even 1500 a day that’s 100 days or 3 1/3 months for an expansion that’s been out much longer.
One thing I have done with my access anima is buy all the weapon re-skins that I could use for transmog even if my hunter wouldn’t use like swords, daggers and off hand items. They can be used on alts as long as they are the same convent.
I am in the same situation. I don’t play 24/7. I think what some people don’t realize is that after you reach a certain point, your anima increases. instead of 35-250 anima, your daily quests give 140 -500 anima. Your covenant mission table, your mission anima rewards give you 5 x 35 anima instead of 15 x 5 anima. It adds up VERY fast. And now, Korthia gives up to 9 x 35 anima for daily quests, and I have absolutely no where to put it all.
I hit the cap as a night fae. All possible night fae related items my priest can buy have been purhcased, and I can no longer deposit anima into the vault.
My poor bags have started to suffer.
Swapping covenants isnt really ideal either.
I play a lot but you certainly dont need to play 24/7 to finish this stuff . I got my regular 8 hour job and family, i play maybe 2-4 hours a night. People who act like this is hard just dont want to do it.
There are 0 items I can spend on now, blizz pls!
Maybe we should be able to convert to gold, or perhaps a cross covenant vendor that lets you buy other covenant items at a higher price!
It’s a remedy but not a great one, there is a limit of items they will add to every covenant, ideally they should let you deposit anima into other covenant vaults or just have a broker vendor with extra expensive items from other covenants (circumvent covenant swapping for mogs and manage excess anima)
I walk/run and spend about 2 hours a day outside doing exercise and I’m capped now what? I haven’t even played that much months prior to 9.1?
Its funny your asking people to quit playing the game and then complain when nobody wants to come back…
I have the same issue on one of my toons. Bags crammed with anima crud I can’t do anything with. Meanwhile my other toon is anima starved and needs more for covenant upgrades.
ALLOW US TO SEND ANIMA TO ALTS BLIZZ. ALT FRIENDLY EXPAC WHEN???
I play, on average, 2 hours a day and about 5 days a week. I also have timeframes where I took several weeks away from the game since Shadowlands. My main is capped with only 2 more items he can buy (7k anima once I finish Ember Court rep). I also have 3 alts, one in each of the other covenants. One of those alts is getting very close to that for Night Fae.
You don’t have to play 24/7, you have to actually be active in the game when you do log in. For me, I don’t log in unless I know what I want/need to do. WoW is not my life so I don’t talk to anyone or really socialize in the game because I am playing a game
! Different levels of skill and motivation as well, which directly affects how long it will take each individual to do/complete the same event/task.
I agree with @Krad about why there is even a cap on a currency like this. You can farm unlimited stygia, soul ash, etc., why the heck would they put a cap on anima lol? So, to me, just doesn’t make any sense.
I say let us convert 250 anima to 200 anima in an account-bound chest, for our alts. Or, remove the cap completely lol. There are literally no benefits to capping out your reservoir to even have a cap exist on the currency. Everything being time-gated, needing a certain renown, etc. prevents anyone from farming everything even in a month, since grateful offerings take time to build up and such.
Anyways, hopefully something is figured out rather than turning auto-loot off or having to constantly destroy anima rewards.
Not sure why you pulled a 25 day old out-dated post but you can trade anima to an exchange guy by the Guild Vault in Oribos. You can get Korthite Stones, or high end cloth, leather, ore. Still not way to send to an alt though. That will likely come in a later patch.
This is quite the drawn conclusion. Anima is quite easy to get even by doing 15 minutes of Korthia dailies.
You’re responding to a post in a necroed thread that was created a month before 9.1 was released.
LOL, anima is literally useless in my opinion.
It was easy to obtain then too.
Buy trade goods with it in Oribos. If you don’t know where, look in the great vault area.
