I was rewatching Shadowlands cinematics and it hit me, that’s why they appear at the end to save him from the Jailer.
I wouldn’t rule it out. Anduin being half-Orc would be kind of perfect for the neutral, universal protagonist role they want to shove him into. They could put him on the cover of every future expansion and nobody would be able to complain about faction favoritism.

Valid point, Varian was 100% conceptualized as an Orc with a human skinjob.
