Anduin's future wife?

No it’s not. and for that matter, neither are the players. This is a fighting game, not a History laboratory. We’re here for the drama.

You could get drama out of either form of government. (Or, for that matter, from a democratically elected council, as I said above.)

Either way though, story pretty much depends on things NOT working out.

Especially if Anduin splits open like an egg.

I do not ship Anduin x Taelia. I do ship however Anduin x Vanessa.

Same. The SW Nobles and Genn would be hardcore against it, constantly pestering Anduin over it. Even the Player Base would have reservations wondering if she’s playing him. If she is for real, the Alliance gets a very interesting Queen with a dark background and lots of underworld connections, who will end up having to prove herself. If she isnt for real, Anduin is compromised and the Alliance has a serious issue on their hands that will need resolving.

Either way, should be fun.

My ship is Anduin splitting open like an egg. to reveal the final Big Bad of the Expansion and open the Siege of Stormwind raid. Continuing a fine royal tradition dating all the way back to the first Diablo.

I agree it’s tons more interesting than just giving the King a spouse without any actual impact on both of their stories aside from them being married and able to produce an heir.

I like that from rebel to queen of stormwind, though isn’t Vanessa as old as Varian at this point?

why restricted to one wife…?
its normal for a king to take in SEVERAL wives…or one wife and several mistresses…

Anduin isn’t that kind of king :innocent:

Wait a sec… If Anduin’s a priest doesn’t that mean he is technically part of a celibate order? :worried:

Since he’s not Catholic, there’s no reason to assume priests of the Light are celibate.

Velen had a wife and son. Still a priest as far as I know.

I think there’s a difference between Draenei orders and the Church of the Holy Light. Velen case only applies to Draenei, and the only case I fond where those that served under Church of holy light did start a family where characters like Tirion, Bolvar and Alexandros.

So far Paladins seem somewhat or prior to becoming a Paladin to start families, so far no priest that I know of in the roots Church of holy light can start a family unless Benedictus Voss case was not because of Scarlet Crusade.

Also their Moira case but I don’t knew if it counts as I don’t knew the Dark Iron order has any roots with the CotHL(Church of the Holy Light) or priest prior her capture.

But the problem is would Anduin being both a priest and king seem kind of pointless for him being ship with other characters. Those two occupations seem to make him into a literal Jesus character and a King who can get any because of celibacy.

Any effort to marry Anduin off would have even more cringe than Twilight fanfiction.

he’s young…
once he understand the pleasure of flesh…he may get more wives…
isn’t it better than having a one-dimensional boring/upright king…:stuck_out_tongue:

Most paladins have families, and if I recall correctly didn’t most human paladins have to become priests before becoming paladins at some point? In that Case Bolvar, and his wife (can’t remember the name but she has a statue in stormwind) made Taelia, and Turalyon too… and wasn’t Calia a priest as well?

I don’t think the church of the holy light has any celibate order’s, maybe celibacy is just something practiced among the priests in the church to keep their chastity but it really isn’t something enforced.

I still doubt it considering his current development :no_mouth: in fact in BTS he didn’t want it to be brought up until Genn kept pushing him to make kids.

he just a shy teen…:flushed:
let him know the pleasure of flesh will surely turn him…
if written correctly…it might give him some character arc instead of the holy than thou attitude…

Is there any evidence of humans practicing polygamy anywhere in Azeroth? I can’t think of any.

Now that you mention it, I don’t think much of the other races practice polygamy neither in terms of WoW… Illidan is probably the only one I know who does after a quick and funny search.
