Maybe what I said was harsh, and if it’s untrue then I’m truly sorry. All I’m saying is that people have lied about that for less. I myself know people with similar backgrounds, and they’re not exactly eager to flaunt it.
considering how the alliance works, wouldn’t you need to hold council with all the alliance leaders and basically vote to kick someone out. Anduin doesn’t have sole control over the entire alliance. He’s just a figure head.
To be fair, even in my darkest NV playtrough where my currier was basically macSuplex deathpuncher even he was like “well **** those guys”. No really, they’re like mad max villians but with none of the charm or over the topness.
Hell, even in swtor my main was a sith warrior bc i hell yeah, its the empire. Caesar and his legion doesnt inspire that kind of loyalty to me.
To be honest, I’ve never played New Vegas, so I do not understand your references. All I am trying to say is that I separate myself from the character I am playing, and the morals and ethics of my characters do not necessarily represent my own. I act in a way that I would not act out in the real world.
And I do not associate game violence with real violence because I have seen it and know what is real and what isn’t. In game violence to me is like watching a black and white television, while real world violence is like watching it on an IMax screen in full technicolor 3D.
Imagine a bunch of Roman cosplayers who took their obsession too far. That’s Caesar’s Legion. They believe in brutality and assimilation of tribals into their ideals while destroying any tribal attachments they had. Unfortunately for Caesar, as other characters point out, they follow him not his ideals so dismantling them is as simple as slaughtering their leadership and leaving the rest to fall apart.
See, a character I play would kill the leadership and take them over using them for my own ends. As a flesh and blood person, I would probably just kill them all for all the atrocities they have committed.
If you are asking yourself “is this guy really admitting to being able to kill another human being?” The answer is yes, but in truth, we all are given the right set of circumstances. Sure, in a post apocalyptic world, I am capable of destroying an entire faction of raping slavers. I’d be worried if someone wasn’t willing to do it.
Honestly, if they’d fleshed them out more like they planned before they ran out of development time this probably would have been an option. The faction is very much a “might makes right” kind of place so slaughtering everyone and taking them over would make sense, unless you’re a woman of course.
Psh I’m not judging. I’m not naïve enough to believe peaceful discourse is always the correct option. Sometimes people need to die and be done with it.
Last I checked his High King-ship only extends both as a courtesy and only in the capacity of military operations. He doesn’t have the authority to kick out members.
I wonder if he still has that given that the Night Elves and Gilneans have both turned their backs on his military orders. Like you said, the High King only has as much power as the other nations give them.
Ashenvale would be called Garroshmar by now without the Alliance. Heck, Stormwind and the rest of the Alliance did not need the Barrens by any stretch but took it so the Horde would be forced to divert forces from the night elves.
Hell, the Alliance has been sending troops to Warsong Gulch since classic.
