Because they can’t get male blood elves interested, I guess, so they have to resort to human men.

Aside from the ones that will come in here with an LGBTQ/bestiality agenda in Wrathion, he already has one that Blizzard is moving toward very slowly but there are a couple they could go with in Tess Greymane OR Taelia Fordragon. They will get there but love stories are clearly not their strong suit unless you liked chasing Tyrande/Malfurion around in Legion.

I’m not sure how you can see the existence of gay people as SJW. Anduin isn’t your typical man, and has, since MoP, been very close to certain boys, so it wouldn’t be completely out of the blue. There is a reason why it’s brought up so much specifically with concern to Anduin, and no one else.
