Anduin has been shown that he is attracted to women so I don’t think that is a reason.
Until very recently, royals didn’t marry for romantic reasons. A potential mate for a royal usually came an extremely limited pool of available candidates.
The only NPCs we have come across recently that could qualify as suitable mates for Anduin is pretty small. I can only really think of Lucy Waycrest and Taelia Fordragon.

Perhaps the OP could put in a suggestion for her character to marry Anduin. The quest would be to come up with the documentation that she is a an elf of royalty.

The biggest downside to Tess is that she wouldn’t bring anything to the union but her bloodline. She would have been the perfect spouse for Anduin before her father lost his kingdom and his heir. I forget his name.
Well, there is the perk that any children of Tess and Anduin would have a claim to both Stormwind and Gilneas and potentially unifying the two crowns.

You can do all of that and still have a girlfriend or boyfriend. Dating is only a waste of time if you go about it in an unhealthy way.
