Anduin and Pelagos <3

It was actually Azuregos, but yeah.

I completely forgot about that quest until you just brought it up. Was a fun one.

And then he rez’s her with whatever Paladin or Priest power and it becomes the oddest love triangle in existence.

I’m all for it.

Shipping leads some down dark paths . . . Some get all pissy cause their ship isn’t canon, others get special tours of studios then hold very spoilery information hostage unless their ship is made canon . . . that and a lot of times they either make no sense (mccassidy and hanzo, Junkrat and Mei, every crossover ship ever, ect), stand on VERY flimsy foundations (Mercy and Soldier 76, tracer and widowmaker, Toph and Aang, ect), are creepy / taboo (Elsa and Anna, Batgirl and Batman, ect), or follow stupid rules like ā€œfriends always wind up togetherā€ or ā€œhatred rivals become loversā€ ( Anduin and Wrathion, Soldier 76 and Reaper, eft)

Does any of it hurt me specifically? No. Has it hurt others in the past? Kinda yea. Some folk just get to into it.

Oh yeah, some people definitely take it way too far. But the people that harass others for shipping, or liking a certain ship are just as bad.

That’s the crappy thing about fandoms. There’s always going to be some people that will try and ruin the fun for everyone else. It’s best to just ignore those types. :woman_shrugging:

I will agree though that ones like:

Are extremely creepy. Same goes for IRL ships Like Septiplier.

That one’s canon in at least one universe, to be fair. Unfortunately.

Shipping is a path to the Darkside. Shipping leads to fanfics, fanfics lead to image boards, image boards lead to uncomfortable and confusing emotions.

Lol this might be one of the best replies in 2022 yet

So apparently I’ve been living under a rock and didn’t realize that Pelagos was female in life and chose to be expressed as a man as Kyrian.

Therefore I’d rather not to answer and even if I tried to suggest anything I’m going to get a big fat silence or ban on here so… yeah I’m going to walk away from this thread.

Cheerio

Lmao Pegalos is so terrible.

Because he lacks the intelligence that Elune gave to squirrels.

He’s like the Jailer. You’re supposed to be in shock and awe at a character who you just met with and have little interactions with except for important bits of the story.

Of course Pelagos may have made more of an impact story wise on players who picked the Kyrian Covenant but since I didn’t he’s just a meh figure.

I’m going to get the spray bottle. Shoo, you shippers.

Everyone knows all the people from Bastion are smooth like a Ken doll in… places.

I want to find out.

Pelagos seems kind of meh / forgetable to me, personally. Honestly, I’d feel further inspiring vibes of awe towards more characters if we learnt even more of their backstory in life than in death.

Like with Pelagos yeah, sure there’s the identity part - but aside from that, it’d be cool to find out more about their actual journey that landed them in the realm. Like did fight as a bastion of justice when they died fighting either demons, old gods, cultists, planetary invaders etc?

That’s why I found some characters in Revendreth and Ardenweald intriguing, because they owned their experiences in how they died & who they were in more ways than one which in turn was part of their new life & journey throughout the Shadowlands. It’s also why I like Uther in Bastion, along with the Forsworn because they don’t forsake their memories & raw identity - but actually embrace it, and use it as a weapon.

And let the direct royal line die out? Not going to happen.

Wrathion would be so jealous!
