We took a group of SOD Mythic raiders and beat our heads against the wall on normal for an hour sand said F this.
People can like villains. Arthas was not a good person; but he wasn’t committing genocide just for funsies because nipple man said so.
He was an infinitely more well-done character than Sylvanas is.
he got exactly what he deserved. nothing.
Huh? I never said that he deserved better. His story ended in Wrath of the Lich King. I didn’t want more for him.

How about while you are updating this fight you fix the crap all story and cutscene for it and not crap all over the game lore Blizzard?
You weren’t going to do anything on Arthas if you couldn’t respect his story, so you literally did NOTHING for Arthas.

In this cutscene when she starts to speak, Jaina shows the trigger…sylvanas shuts up. And voila…this scene got 1000% better really. Now we fix LK part.
Her being in cutscenes, fully armed, as a prisoner (technically)…is really irksome.
Lol you are just being a hipster. Everybody is in agreement that the cinematic was lame and you are trying to defend it because you have to go against the popular crowd.
i’m gonna milk this 35 anima token arthas meme just as much as they did the power slide one. 
you think he’s a good character. i don’t. you can check my post history for years before any of this even happened. was anti arthas and pro sylvanas even when i first started posting. that’s some long game hipstering. heh

Only adjustments I care about is retconning that Arthas ending in the cinematic, send his soul to revendreth… at least enough of his soul to still exist… disenchanting Varian was bad enough… doing it to Arthas while letting the queen of evil run around like she is part of the gang is disgusting writing.
Retcon the cinematic please.

most hipsters are hipsters for their whole lives so I don’t doubt it. Arthas has always been one of the most popular lore characters ever since WC3 and out of all of Blizzards’ “tragic heroes” he is definitely the best and well written version.
my favorite characters when i started playing were uther, jaina, thrall, sylvanas, and guldan. to me for a long time guldan was wow’s best villain. you can check my achievements to see that i don’t have even a single wrath loremaster achievement. it’s probably my least favorite expansion other than tbc. my favorite was cata because thats when i had the most fun. once i was able to solo firelands i went back all the time just to kill stupid smug staghelm because he was always suck a jerk to my baby druids. people like different things. it doesn’t make someone a hipster or anything else. just difference of opinion. my issue with arthas is mostly that he was a good VILLAIN but alliance over the years have tried to morph him into some helpless anti hero and he was never that. he was a villain. no one should be like “omg arthas is the greatest thing ever” any more than they should be thinking that about deathwing. lol
