I want to trade the new pets for some actual class updates.
YOU KNOW WHAT
LETS MAKE SHADOW PRIESTS TAME ABBERATIONS TOO.
Blizzard has missed out on a huge opportunity here IMO. There are lots of different demon models in the game thanks to WoD and Legion. Theyâre fully functional existing assets that are rarely seen thanks to them being in old zones. Every single one of these could be added as a glyph to reskin your pet.
More glyphs are the answer, and if they wanted to unprune something they shouldâve brought back blood pact so thereâs more of a reason to use the imp. I consider my 4 affliction demons to pretty well cover everything, but I wouldnât mind changing their appearance.
Notice to All Concerned Warlocks: Do NOT glyph your demon unless you want its name to change and then be unchangeable until you drop the glyph. At which point if you reapply a glyph it will switch again. So the only way I can figure to change glyphed demons names is to buy a ton of glyphs and let em rip. I was told itâs âworking as intendedâ which is Iâm sure corpspeak for âthereâs a coding issue but itâs cosmetic so it isnât a priority.â Sometimes I just wish theyâd said that instead of âitâs intended to never change your glyphed demonâs name. Well, you can, but itâll revert on logout or resummon.â Totally intended that interaction Iâm sure.
Perhaps more glyphs. Though taming should remain a hunter ability in my opinion.
Because I do not believe that people who play baby mode classes should be meta in mythic+ nor should they do similar damage output as other classes that require a modicum of skill. When a pet plays the game for you, time to delete that class or make it more difficult.
Just be thankful weâre not magically unlearning anymore spells/abilities to Demon Hunters. Poor demonology still doesnt know what it wants to be.
Would be nice if priests could tame any Aberration to replace the Shadowfiend
Same with Water Elementals and Ice Mage
Zombies with Unholy Death Knight
Fire and Earth Elementals for Shamans
That way more classes could use the stables and get more customization on skills
I mean Iâve used the Geist since the Glyph came in, and Iâm pretty happy with it. I donât really need more options for Unholy. Glyph of Foul Menagerie and Glyph of Geist are enough for me.
Yeah sorry, while warlocks do have some of the biggest ups and downs of a class I have ever seen, hunters have become an afterthought. I forget they are even in the game sometimes lately.
A few ponies is not going to change that. Warlocks are looking waaaay better in Shadowlands than hunters.
Not all classes needs to be using pets.
Really, demo warlocks need more gliphs or the ability to just steal appereances of npcs vis an item for tour deamons or something like that at least
Dumb answer oh the day award winner!!!
I wonder if Elekks will be listed under mammoths. Hopefully not too many of the new tames will be BM only.
While I would love some new pets for my lock, I just want the ones I have to be functional!
Says another baby mode, DH. Enjoy the well deserved nerfs in SL.
Says the pleb hiding behind an alt lmao. Itâs a good thing that I donât enjoy the things all dhs are complaining about.
Hide well small guy
Pony Bolt - fling a fel pony at your enemies
Iâd be happy just having more reasons to swap my main pet and a higher percent chance of summoning a non-imp summoned while Demo.
Pretty sure the consensus is that DH is by far the simplest class to play. Thereâs also some nuance to BM that most people donât acknowledge. And do MM and SV just not exist?
You also seem to not understand that a lot of people are discontent with the current state of hunter. We want pets to be more actively involved. We want marksman to get tweaked and reworked to make it more viable. We want Blizzard to make up their mind on what the heck they want to do with survival. Iâd imagine youâre pretty frustrated with the state of rogues, no? Did you ever consider that other people in the game are capable of having issues with how their class is being handled?
