I appreciate the compliments and the well-wishes! I’m excited to see The Clergy go far, and work to help better the Roleplay Community!
As a side note, the Discord is not up yet, so the link for it on our website will not work until it’s official. I currently am ironing out issues with the custom bot for it (Brother Sarno), but when it is ready it will be updated on the website as well as mentioned properly here.
Anyone who may be interested in the guild and/or community until then, please don’t hesitate to message me in game or send me in game mail.

An update to the status of the guild and community discord: It is currently not active still, as I am (unfortunately) encountering issues with Brother Sarno. My goal is to have it up by end of day or at maximum Friday. If Brother Sarno (the custom bot) does not continue to work right, I’ll default to some of the already accessible discord bots around to use instead.
Also, I appreciate all the kind words, whispers, and support for the guild!
Just hit him with a steel chair and I’m sure he’ll start working proper. I’ve taken a short hiatus from WoW myself for the week, so I’ll check in either tomorrow or Friday.

Are you looking for a rival or opponent? I want to be the bad guy (or evil entity) - of a sort - who comes to claim the souls of those who betray the Clergy. Or the monster of fairy tales told to keep children in line - and later turns out to be real.
If you are an elder scrolls fan:
(Like how those who betray the sacred tenant of the dark brotherhood by killing their own family invoke the wrath of sithis who follows the target continuously eager to drag their souls down into the void for all eternity.)
I always linger in the maw, unless summoned above, so i don’t have very many interactions.

I will keep my eye on this. Would be refreshing for my Argent to have other Light-wielders to speak to who aren’t insane zealots and actually honor the Three Virtues.

I promised to deliver by today, and so I am! Brother Sarno, our custom discord bot, is working but not to his full extent. He is requiring a lot of coding, but his basic functions are working. As a moderator, he helps me by logging chats (in case action needs to be taken), but also as a reaction role for agreeing to our rules.
Over the new week(s), the plan is to implement more with custom coding involved:
- Spaces for Priests to interact and talk lore, doctrine, and have their own channels.
- Spaces for Silver Hand paladins to have their own section to talk and brainstorm.
- A ticketing system for quick immediate action or questions.
- A more in-depth accountability system with leadership, allowing members to see more of what is going on behind the scenes and be involved directly.
Right Now the Discord (and Guild) offers the following:
- Spaces for Community Members, Guild Members, and Affiliated Persons to interact.
- Spaces to share excerpts, short stories, and more.
- Spaces to find mentors and mentees available to anyone.
We hope you do! our goal is to be positive and extremely lore-focused, while still giving plenty of room for some degrees of Fanon to mix with canon.

While I am new to the community, my goal is to make sure that toxicity is squashed, we do not overstep, and offer a good environment to everyone.
It is not, I actually discovered it a bit after the fact. I love it though, and think that The Three Virtues fit more along Buddhist ideals than some other religious ideas. A happy coincidence.
Our discord link is now added to the website (which I recommend people look at) as well as the forum post. I hope to be in touch with new guilds, community members, and such soon!
On November 1st, we will have our first Congregation at 8:00pm Server Time. This is a meeting for any guild member, community member, community affiliate, or people interested to attend. It will start off with a small sermon before the floor opens to anyone interested in speaking. Here you can bring up Church-related events, needs for supplies, mentors, and so forth. Out of respect to the Cathedral Community we will be conducting it in Northshire.
