Background: The Empire of Alterac was decreed by his Imperial Majesty Isiden Perenolde, nephew of the late traitor Aiden Perenolde. Emperor Isiden anointed a former Captain of the Alteraci Army, Higgs Bosunn as his Highlord, and tasked him with recruiting a mercenary force to retake their ancestral home.

Geography: The Empire covers the area of the former Kingdom of Alterac, as well as Southshore and portions of the former Kingdoms of Dalaran and Lordaeron.

Population: The Empire consists mostly of the original Alliance races; Humans, Dwarves, Elves and Gnomes, although all Alliance races are welcome. It’s citizens, although now mostly refugees, come from all walks of life, and include Warriors, Paladins, Priests, Rogues, Shaman, Druids, Monks, Mages and even a few stalwart Death Knights still loyal to their former home. As well as tradespeople of every stripe and intrepid explorers and mountaineers.

Disposition: The Empire of Alterac is Horde and Alliance neutral, but has peace treaties with the Wildhammer, Bronzebeard and Dark Iron Dwarves and the Human Kingdoms of Stromgarde and Gilneas. They are generally on unfriendly terms with The Argent Crusade and the Elves of Silvermoon, although exceptions are sometimes made in matters of mutual benefit. The Empire is hostile to The Scourge, The Forsaken, The Scarlet Crusade, The Syndicate, The Crushridge Ogre Clan, The Frostwolf Orc Clan and The Amani Trolls, who they consider a direct threat to the wellbeing of the citizens of the Empire.
