as the guy has pointed out, people cleared MT more than they cleared AotC Argus, this is a clear indicator that the average player at endgame beat the MT by default by the end of Legion as long as you had a geared character.

It was odd for me. since my first day on remix i could access the MT Grizzlemaw forms but the MT Feral forms never even showed on the barbershop vendor.

Things in the game that have become Unobtainable over the years has ALWAYS sat wrong with me.
Plain and Simple:
- MANY Folks where not around when item X was offered and then became Unobtainable.
- MANY Folks didn’t have (couldn’t afford) a decent Gaming PC when item X was offered and then became Unobtainable therefor making obtaining item X impossible.
- MANY Folks where on 56k-128k Dial up when item X was offered and then became Unobtainable therefor making obtaining item X impossible.
- MANY Forks where not “in the clique” when item X was offered and then became Unobtainable therefor making obtaining item X impossible.
- We ALL BOUGHT the Game and PAY a Subscription Fee - NOTHING EVER Introduced in to the game should become Unobtainable

25% or so have the cheev for AOTC Argus.

More than 70% of WOW players don’t even have ONE skin but it was a freebie with great mogs?
Freebies with great cosmetics is casual player catnip but 70% of the players didn’t get any?
Something doesn’t add up.
Item exclusivity isn’t a bad thing. It rewards player loyalty and effort (at the time) to acquire said items when they’re around. A player who got Corrupted Ashbringer and still has it shouldn’t have that exclusive item just given away. It should remain as a trophy of someone who has been with the game for 2 decades.
Same with the MT exclusive skins. It was hard solo content, when it first released at least, and was given ample warning about leaving to become unobtainable after a certain date.
That said, I get it, the bear form looks really cool. So much so it was given a brand new skin for people to attempt to get again. Yet people missed getting it again either through laziness or not being around playing at the time. But thems the breaks. I’m not about to whine and moan about not getting Corrupted Ashbringer or any of the other unobtainable items just because I wasn’t playing at the time due to school or work or whatever else I had going on at the time.
Instead people should be asking for NEW challenges with NEW skins to get. Not asking for handouts of skins that players earned 10 years ago for their loyalty and effort in the game. I’d be all for the bear form to make a return in some form but just give it new colours. Same with the cat form or any of the other MT weapon models people might want, just make them different tints so it doesn’t cheapen something players earned just because you (not you specifically, but a general ‘you’ for everyone asking) want it.

If you think the mage tower is a difficult achievement, congrats. That doesn’t mean other peoples subs shouldnt have a chance access to other new or revamped challenges. Every new form pales in comparison and everyone knows this. It’s the main reason others are so against it.
I was told my Vanila Field Marshal Mog would never be available. Then they made it available to anyone with 1800 rating in any bracket. That’s a big difference from the time commitment back when I earned it.
Duelist used to be something to celebrate, now any schmuck DPS can keyboard turn in RSS for a few hundred matches and get 2100. Like you, looking at your experience. ( I had to go there, sorry )
All that doesn’t bother me one bit, once you get a bit in touch with reality and realize this is an imaginary game, and that all of our money is just as valuable to Blizzard.

some serious grass touching has to occur around here. I too understand not wanting to get personal with people, but they’re totally asking for it. This game is a bell curve, and there are lot of folks that think they’re better positioned than they really are. It’s through that over estimation of their own prestige that they seek to punish others. People need to hear that they’re not special and are not in a position to minimize features/content/collectibles for others. Particularly in a genre of video game that becomes harder to justify and is no longer the dominant way most people game. I like to get a bit silly with my replies, but your points are eloquent.
i love my forms too but touch enough grass to recognize you’re still getting dunked on for gate keeping like a weirdo.
math is super hard for this crowd. higher tier raiding was always a bigger deal in Legion than MT, and yet the gatekeeping is through the roof. It’s because so many gamers are contrarians or something. I’m learning more and more about this crowd by visiting the forums, which I don’t normally do.
The other issue here is that we’ve got a few loud, exclusionary voices that don’t reflect the player base. Most normal people say yes to more content and don’t automatically default to: I want to prevent others from having fun.
