Sorry but logging in, running around these islands trying to get everything in, only to get maybe a few hundred rep each day and wasting our time is sad.
Gating everything is simply not the way friends.
Such a waste of time…
Once I get flying… only doing the needed things…
Disgusted overall… few hours wasted… for 300 rep…

I think I read Blizz estimates 2 weeks for Rev, thus flying. You don’t appear to be new, so I’m not sure what grinds you’ve done in the past…but that’s fast.

It’s Day One.

Don’t be so focused on the goal of flying that you completely neglect that you’re playing the game to have fun. If this isn’t fun, then where the hell do you think you’ll be flying to - stuff that isn’t fun, but you’ll be getting there faster?

Most other reps throughout the history of the game gave 150-500 for a daily/WQ, and in previous expansions most of them had mobs or turnins you could additionally grind. These two reps give you like 50-75 per quest for the most obnoxiously HP-spongey crap I’ve ever seen in this game.

Their estimates suck then. Once the hideously short one-off quests dry up it looks like you’re likely to get about 400 a day in Mechagon unless you’re literally on 24/7 to pick up all the WQ rotations. Honored → Revered alone is 12000, which is about a month for just that leg of it (not counting what remains of Friendly → Honored after the questline). Exalted would be almost twice that again.

Again, that’s for daily play with zero days unplayed. If you go somewhere on the weekends or whatever, drags it out into a month and a half.

Yeah, and that’s the other half of the problem. Day one and there’s nothing else left.

Back in my day we ground our rep 10 bits at a time and killed thousands of mobs one at a time with drinks in between and got carpal tunnel syndrome and broke up with our girlfriends because of “irreconcilable differences” and kept a bucket next to the computer for ablutions because I’ll be damned if I’m getting out of my chair for anything less than a nuclear strike AND EVEN THEN only in the megaton range.

Kids these days.

The zone wide quest gives 850 rep, and appears to be daily. You fill the bar by doing other quests and activities in the zone and it goes pretty fast.

Hours for 300 rep?

I’m like a few hundred short of Honored, what the hell are you doing to get so little rep?

I’m legitimately confused. I just bummed around Mechagon for like a hour doing stuff and almost hit honored.

Its highly likely we will get more progression quests that give large amounts of rep.

That said, I want flying now because running around Naz can be a little annoying.
