Bel’ameth felt like Blizz providing lip service to world building tbh. Introduce it at a time when it’s ‘relevant’ to get players to even look at it, and then never speak of it again since both the majority of the playerbase and Blizz themselves will forget all about it. Gilneas got the same treatment if you ask me. These locations don’t really mean anything if they aren’t actually being integrated with the wider world and giving players actual reasons to care that they exist.
