No, when you zoom IN and there’s LESS of the game world to render, which in turn is less usage on the GPU, and is true for the majority of circumstances. Like when you look at the floor or a wall your FPS tends to skyrocket.
In fights when there’s lots of stuff happening, when you zoom in, there’s more focus on player physics which leans on CPU. Hence the FPS dips in those scenarios.
