Amazon or Google?

Wut? Neither, what is this.

Hard to say. As a consumer, I really enjoy both companies. That being said, I can’t say that either of them would necessarily do WoW any good, so I think I’ll stick with neither.

Who do you trust more with your data?

Both have lots of data on us consumers. But there is a big difference.

Google has way more data you on a day-to-day basis and is more than willing to sell that data to outside companies in the form of targeted advertising.

Amazon has lots of data on what consumers buy and when and uses that information to sell even more stuff to us. Afaik, Amazon doesn’t sell that data to outside corporations.

So for consumers and a Amazon Google either-or, Amazon would be the more benign choice, well, as benign as choices involving $200 Billion in revenues per year multinational corporations go.

if i have to pick one then i will pick steam.

all the steam sales means u get 5 bucks realm transfer + race change all 2gether.

Neither. Amazon would outsource to a company that didn’t know what they were doing in actual programming but really good at manipulation. You would play for no apparent reason to any sane 3rd party observer.

Google would make WoW free and sell everything they know about you to random people so they could market to you or brainwash you as those people desire.

Microsoft maybe? At least they have a decent gaming department…

Neither. With the announcement of Diablo:Immortal, and the hints that a mobile version of WoW and other Activision products are in the works, it would make more sense for WoW to go over to Alibaba (the Chinese version of Amazon). That appears to be the next market they’re interested in … those billions of Chinese smartphone users, y’know?

Neither of them, though Google would probably be worse given their fanatical worship of political correctness.

Google. They have a ballpit. That’s how you know they’re wacky and fun.

I see you like to watch the world burn.

I’d rather have Walmart buy Blizzard. At least Walmart has their packages delivered and/or ready by the time they say (looking at you, Amazon) and Google is just a terrible extension of Big Brother. Besides, based on the salary info of Blizzard empoyees, Walmart makes more sense :woman_facepalming:

Amazon not very like here in my state. The work the employees hard core. It hard to get even bathroom breaks. Most pee in bottle type environment. Almost all on some sort of government assistant. mean while owner is worth 130+ billion or so.
google I no have a better environment. But not by a ton.

Have Facebook buy both of them. They will decide which products are deemed “fit” for you and then they send you some trash you dont want with a bill attached to it. Everyone loses!

They really don’t.

That might not be such a good idea. Facebook could hire oppo research/p.r. firms to smear and quell the dissidents on the forums who don’t agree with them. :cold_sweat:

Amazon… because I don’t get non-stop telemarketing calls about my Amazon listing like I do from Google… that listing that is fine and has been in place for years…

This isn’t unusual. IBM has had a stipulation like this since before Google even existed.

Anything you invent while employed by IBM they can file a patent on your behalf. Catch is they will own the patent. This is one of the reason that for many years, IBM had filed more patents than any other company. I’m not sure if this is still the case, and wouldn’t be surprised if it isn’t, given that IBM is nowhere near as relevant as they once were.
