Amani leadership

If ever the Amani are to become viable, they need leadership that would prioritize actually restoring Zul’Aman and its surroundings.

Since the Troll Wars they’ve kept just using their home as a still-ruined rallying point to launch doomed attacks against Silvermoon, indicating that they have no real plan beyond killing elves. It’s hardly a wonder their city keeps getting raided when all they use it for is marshalling armies to attack their neighbors.

Rebuild Zul’Aman, properly honor the loa again at its temples and provide a safe haven for all forest trolls irrespective of any intent to someday invade Quel’thehalas. Offer to protect any forest tribes willing to seek shelter there. Create a basis for relations with the Horde and Alliance by providing something more than just a rallying cry to attack them. Plus an emphasis on making a home for forest trolls could appeal to the Zandalari more than continuing to just provide a war camp with which to throw away troll lives.

Unfortunately it’s the sort of thing that might only be able to come from either a sudden calamity forcing violent change in Amani leadership, or one of the other forest tribes supplanting them and taking up the mantle of leadership. Because as things stand, too much of the Amani cultural identity is anchored in the desire to forcibly rid their ancient territory of non-trolls and spontaneously revive their continent-spanning empire. Which is frankly never going to happen.

The only people who say this are racists

Look I do not want to absolve belves of anything but whenever someone supports Amani openly it’s usually the same group of people against it. Raging european paladins.

I’m sure you honestly believe that too

Being supportive of the Amani is one thing, acting like they’re completely innocent is an entirely different matter and why most of the responses to you are trollish in nature.

Nobody is going to take this serious until people actual WANT to have a serious discussion about the horrendous crimes BOTH SIDES did to one another and how to move forward and actually make the Amani a sympathetic group

The plaguelands are currently not owned by anyone. Just saying.

Blizzard already does a good job at making the elves sympathetic. Now it’s time to give the trolls the same treatment. Giving the Alleria extra credit by going on another troll slaughter time won’t cut it.

Blood elves will commit genocide against those tusk heads.

Red backgrounds really can’t get it that the blood elves are totally fine with the alliance right now.

Unlike most Horde races bar Zandalari they have every reason to hate the alliance more than just once.

I don’t know what it is anymore. I just chalk it up to people not paying attention to the lore.

Make a group of Amani break off from the others and join the horde. Ones who actually WANT to normalize relations between the blood elves and the forest trolls

They really don’t, since it was an alliance leader who saved them in their darkest hour back in TBC. And they literally let Arator, the son of ALLERIA and TURALYON live in Silvermoon.

The blood elves look like they largely moved on from any past grievances

Wishful thinking horde hater.

They need to bow and join the alliance spitting on all the horde characters that keep you around.

They don’t read the lore and when the lore shows how much free trade and travel between the cities are now, they can’t comprehend it because the games old code still has it being split.

Game mechanics aren’t lore.

More Horde than you can comprehend

A formal apology would be a good start.

Unlike lorthemar his people aren’t spineless cowards.

Nah, you’re just a niche small blood elf lover and only the blood elves that follow sunstrider ideals. Not even liking the blood elves now we are hanging out with Turalyon and Arator.

Horde hater.

The Amani? Your right. They aren’t spineless, they’re just loot piñatas that the blood elves occasionally use the heads of as decorations to scare off the other superstitious trolls.

So……yeah. That’s worse.

Kael’thas was great and would have never allowed Humans in Silvermoon.

There it is. I rest my case.

And here we have it folks. They are even proud of the genocide they commit. Why you think poc players can form identity with
The Amani?

Don’t know. Don’t care either. Twitter opinions are the worst
