Guildy is having an issue where they can get the Dread Aura in Ashenvale, but when they go back to speak with Hannalah, they have no extra dialogue options and are unable to get the AoN quest. I’ve done a bunch of poking around and it looks like this is rare, but happening to other people.
We’ve tried clearing Wow Cache folder and making sure he’s not in a raid. If anyone has any insight here it’d be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
Did they actually get the debuff before leaving the area?
Have they turned in the mission ashenvale quest for the first time already?
There will be actual emote like text that pops on their screen. Once that happens they have it.
Yes. They’ve gotten the debuff.
Which ashenvale mission quest? There’s nothing in any guides that say you need a quest prereq to start the Epic Gear quest.
I just mean the initial one for the first time. It might have an impact on what dialogue you can receive after, but I also may be completely wrong. Just throwing out ideas at this point.
Where you just kill demons around the area to get the daily.
And did they go straight to the Han chick immediately after getting the debuff?
Actually, update. He does get the dialogue with Hallanalah, but he does not get the Amalgamation quest. It’s not showing up in his quest log and he even went to moon glade to try to speak with Loganaar. No dice. Really weird, must be a super rare bug or something.
Hmm, is his quest log full? Stupid question, but just making sure.
Also, did he trying swapping layers at Logan?
Yup, we have the whole guild trying to help him. Nothing is working.
Hmm, I do remember there was a couple people claiming that one part was bugged back when the first wave of people did it. Maybe just DM a GM and hope for something at reset tomorrow?

Check your quest log. You might be on the quest chain already.
