Haha surprisingly the melee caster aoe doesn’t bother me, and I actually find it kind of fun. Not as fun as legion because if I want to be competitive aoe wise I have to give up single target. I actually have gave Shadow a try, void form has just never felt right to me. I’m with you though, Arcane Blast feels like an eternity. Maybe it will get better in 8.2 with some more haste—I’m sure that is wishful thinking—but I have to hold on to something because I haven’t really found another spec that suits me like Arcane, but it sure has become a chore to play, especially in BoD.
