i joins raiding guild and they turn into meanies and form cliques and backstabs me with guild politics and i either leave in disgust or get g kicked for political guild reasons or i joins family freindly guild and it falls apart after like 8 months. i feel like socializing with other people is not for me. other people seem mean.

The way i look at it, guilds are not for you, its for them and what they need, if they need a raider they will bring you, if you ask for something else they wont help since they got friends and others in the guild

I feel like joining into an already established guild is of course going to be cliquey even if it’s “family and friends”
Like my guild is definitely cliquey but we’re family and friends that come together to raid twice a week
“family friendly guild” is your biggest mistake in your post.

other than that it’s same stuff you described and i just dont even bother these days

I would love that. I will put some thought into this. Maybe it could start small and we could just… slowly but surely recruit more people FROM THE FORUM to our community or guild.
One idea I had was… since people don’t want to leave their realm… and I don’t really care… I could just make characters on all the different realms the forum users play on. And connect people that way, somehow. I don’t know.
remember they added in game communities as well so that would be ideal can just communicate across all servers that way
Yes. And I have no communities at this point. I think we can join multiple.

Don’t single yourself out. I’ve been in 2 or 3 guilds over the years with tyrannical cliques that make things miserable for others. Just gotta find the kind of people you like.

There used to be a forum guild called < of the Forums > but I don’t remember what server they were on or if they’re still active. I saw them a lot back in like… MoP probably, maybe WoD.
