The bags aren’t even an issue either. 30 slot bags can be bought for pennies.

It isn’t really much of an issue imo. I maxed and geared several characters already during DF. Having one more at max without having to grind out the renown again was pretty nice tbh.
It’s all trivial at the end of the day, but it saved me having to do things I have already done all over again.
it also means they dont get to experience 99% of what the game offers…

no, they can do that on their alts; making people do content that nobody is doing anymore is just going to leave a negative impression, and that’s why most expansions have come with boosts since like WoD or whatever

But it sets a bad precent, with players knowing this is now a thing it will make many who don’t care for seasonal achievements just not play until the enhanced boosts are out, saving both time and money in the process.
If you pay to play for 18 months vs paying for a boost, it’s definitely easier and cheaper to just boost.
I don’t see why this is a problem for me, I plan on playing the entire expansion anyway.

I’ve been saying that there is no real reason to play the game except at the start and the end for a while. Seeing this type of junk only helps to solidify my stance lol.
It still sets a precent for players who don’t care about seasonal achievements and just want to experience the content in some way, you are not the only person who plays this game, there are many who really will just wait for the boost.

If those players only want to wait for the enhanced boost to experience everything at once without the grind, that doesn’t hinder my experience at all, so why am I concerned about that in any way?

Well you are the one who brought up new or returning players, some of those will literally wait for the boost because it’s easier, I never said it affects you, just adding to your conversation.

exactly. everyone should have to do it so there arent patches that nobody is doing. I agree.
Considering 424 gear is basically WQ equivalent, no its not too much.
415 hasn’t been good gear since season 1.
415 was trash gear even in season 2. how are you seriously complaining about this?
As a returning player, the gear doesn’t matter. I got a new enh shaman to 70 like 3 days ago and everything but the rings are higher than 420 and that’s only because I’m being cheap/lazy. Also, the bags are less than an hour of farming cost-wise.
The renown is tempting though.
It is a bad thing, and stop saying it won’t affect you, no one cares about you, people will 100% use it as a skip at the end of an expansion to unlock all the tedious grinding.
How is that bad? How does that affect anybody else?
