So, a few weeks ago Alyx the guest relations from the 20th Anniversary Celebrations landed in Dorongal. To give those who were in the middle of the achievement(s) a chance to complete them. Then also get the fel cycle that part of the final reward. Yes, this made many upset that got it done in time (like other times with mounts etc as the game progresses people will always whine). However, in spite of this, I bring forward this question, since Alyx is in Dorongol wouldn’t it be prudent to put the starter quests there with her as well? In this, if this done, you don’t necessarily put the NPCs they are connected to with her (unless like the first one where the clues may be hidden in Dorongol rather than around the Celebration site), they would be around their more natural sites with their supporting NPCS. Thus, making it slightly harder, but not over the top harder.
If you are wondering where PORTAL part comes into it. This comes via the fact trying to finish the Ardenweld part of Chapter 2 (with the other 2 quests complete - yet happy to do them again if this comes about) and not being able to open the Portals with my Earthen character (which the quests were being completed). Also, at the time, for some reason, the quests or achievements did not seem Warbound connected. I also sort help from game masters, and they could not help me sort this out either with a resolution, other than telling me it was a known bug, and they were looking into it. I tried to find a solution myself, however this solution came after the 20th Anniversary Celebrations had finished. It was by removing the Dragon starter quest and clicking and doing the War Within starter quests in Silithius (can use skip) and completing them. It seemed to make the start quests in Oribos visible again, then the portals. Oh, to have gotten this at the time a week or just a little bit earlier, to complete the Chapter 2 part of the achievement! Hence, Alyx, who the PORTAL is Alyx? As the topic. So, the other part of this request of the starter quests being put there comes from those that could be in a comparable situation, and they will be able to finish those quests that (at least with the PORTAL) they might have had a problem finishing to get the full achievement as well. Which I can see there were several others in writing this having a similar problem.
It is my hope that in seeing this, that you can see this a valued outcome for all your players, especially those who ran into trouble finishing the achievement during the 20th Anniversary Celebration.
