Since we’re in the #somechanges mode, how about double rep for characters who’s main are already exalted with said faction.
Why don’t you just earn the rep? like honestly what is this aversion to grind in an mmo? you are already making an alt so you are timesinking just embrace the grind.

You play alts to experience content differently. Rep grinding isn’t a different experience, it’s the same thing over and over.
Also, not asking to remove rep, asking to reduce it for alts.
Ok so even keeping it in at a reduced rate is the same thing.
what is the end game here faster access to heroics you won’t be geared for?
How about tier 4 in the store? We need to save some time

I just responded to another similar thread.
If you want the cries to “bring on the next phase” to get bigger and louder, by all means introduce shortcuts for alts.
My only complaint in this regard about TBC is that it makes too-little sense to try quests in zones you haven’t really quested in, because reputation requirements demand you do pretty much the same quests on all your characters. Why try new quests that “only” give you xp when you can do quests that give xp AND reputation? And of course, to grind rep the “smart” way, you’ve already earned so much xp spamming the same dungeons over and over again that non-rep quests become superfluous.
But that’s a tangent.
Gotcha… grinding the same dungeons over and over means you get better gear and become a better player.
yeah I am going to make the outrageous assertion that maybe you should do the normal version of a dungeon 6-8 times before doing it on heroic on a new character.

Or the outrageous assertion that 3-4 times is enough since my main already did it 6-8 times
but this is content experienced differently.
the extra runs will help familiarize you.

Doing the same content more than once (let alone 6-8 times) is really experiencing content differently.
Already grinded 6-8 times on the main. Grind maybe less on the alt?
