You should see my spreadsheet… I purposefully leveled nearly all of my army of alts up to 70, and rolled a few more in the pandaria thing. Now, most of my bank mules are able to go out and gather their stuffs, and each have their personal bank space.
It’s easier now, frankly, and a bit unfortunate, too, that green and blue item drops from any 10-60 zone are now useless for alts, and that freed up a great deal of bag space and made the disenchanter and her crew very busy.
But not crafting orders for some reason. Having to schlep mats to and from the warbank for each alt to do their crafting weekly is a real PITA. I assume they are going to address that…in their own sweet time, per usual.
Yes. All of them about equally. I did clean out a bunch and organized a bit so the warbank holds current items and some DF, while guild bank holds previous expac materials. I have designated crafters who can take on additional mats in their reagent bank.
Soulbound items are in personal banks or void storage if it’ll take em.
Reagents, Battle Pet Tokens, and Warband gear in Warbank.
Guild bank is empty due to the issues on expac launch.
Character stuff in Alts bags or their banks for any unneeded gear that I can’t get rid of.
Started putting recent stuff in the warband bank, and putting our old world items back in the guild bank… we lost hundreds of items in our guild vault from the bug. Sucks but just have to start over.
I’m just a mess. My bank is a mess, my bags are a mess, my warband is a mess, my guild banks are a mess and my motivation level to get it back in order is a mighty big messy zero.
When guild bank items were deleted it was a relief and I hoped they were gone forever. But no, I’m a “lucky” one that got old mats back.
Perhaps when the servers are back I will sort it out, but it’s more likely to be cleansed in fire-sale on the AH…some day.
Mostly warbank for current xpac things only. 4 tabs is enough to not care about space too much, and I have probably 30 warbound on equip items I didn’t put on random alts yet.
It all depends on what stuff I’m storing. This is the system I’ve been using for years now which has been slightly modified since the introduction of Warbands:
I store character-specific stuff in that character’s personal bank depending on frequency of use or the sentimental value it has to that character. From time to time I re-evaluate items stored within which either remain in personal storage or sold as vendor trash.
I store the current expansion’s crafting materials and gear I need for crafting and/or leveling purposes in my Warbands bank, whereas previously it was stored in a guild bank.
Any excess which is no longer needed then gets moved to one of my guild banks where it accumulates until the bank tabs are nearly full. I then designate two characters to sell all the accumulated items at the Auction House. Anything that did not sell after a few listings gets sold as vendor trash.
Any profits exceeding 100k then get added to the pot to be shared between characters as needed.
I keep everything in the warband bank. Now all my alts can work on professions directly from the bank and i have mostly open bags. I absolutely love the changes. I was so sick of only having like 12 slots available in DF.
