Why would I change your mind? The only thing that came close was Wintergrasp when it was current content.
Ehh⌠If Alterac Valley was great, people would play throughout it methodically than just rush to the finish. While it is fun, not gonna lie about that but I wouldnât call it the best BG.
I think this might be the top of the pick to level in as soon as we get our +17% boost tokens from this years anniversary. (Plan to queue while doing world quests and bonus objectives)

Pretty much. Nothing wrong doing whatâs the most efficient. If that was the go to strategy for the longest time, when we have ALL THESE THINGS TO DO in Alterac Valley. Looking back at all of this ever since BFA came out, especially with Warfronts being a thing. I canât help but think AV was a true precursor to that idea.
Its why I think it isnât the best because there are so many elements in there that can be done but never utilized because its not efficient, not even close compared to simply rushing towers, and then boss. It becomes a race than a battle of supremacy but heavily bastardizes the idea of attrition just taking out towers as soon as you can the second the match starts.
Which again rolls back around that it is only simply fun because its a mindless slaughter but I come from playing games like Battlefield, especially 3 and 4 where it was still fun getting back and forth objectives through strategic moves and skill. And despite losing, it was felt more rewarding accomplishing when overtaking something difficult and through teamwork. Which nowadays isnât the case in WoWâs PvP, just need good healers to keep things going and some hard hitters to prevent said healers.
Then again, I donât really play PvP in WoW all that much, just for Comp Stomp and whatever events like the one that gave away that special Alliance Worg/Horde Horse mount because screw the constant losing streaks I kept getting ever since BFA started.

How do you know if itâs the same match?
AV is good, and it has great music, but I prefer Ashran with Events, open-world, plenty of rewards, and easy to gear up alts. Basically Warlord of Draenorâs version of Ashran. 40v40.
Never seen/heard a player say they prefer Ashran over AV before
