Please give the AV premade honor cheats a one week ban, they are ruining the honor system for everyone else, horde or alliance. But you guys already know that.

Pvpers are quitting the game because of AV honor meta. Why bother playing premade WSG when AV honor is easy mode?
Also, while Iâm at it, cross server BGs is the worst idea ever. Ruins community which is what made this game good.

you are so right, back in the day playing our server we knew everyone even the other faction, we made friendship and laughed and cried, what fun times, this just BS. you have to beg for buffs many people are rude. this feel like garbage

He was mounted when he took the Queue, I think it was a bug on that server.
Well PvP is much funner when you have enemies with names instead of the nameless mobs.
Well I have only done like 5 avs everyone of them last probably half an hour, lost 2 won 3. 1/3 wins against premades, I donât really care about premades I just love to play horde and do av, every av there is some horde whinner who is like let alliance win at the start and people are like we waited 30 min we are going to play our way.
Well those avs are still too disorganize from the classic-tbc avs I did reason probably is battlegroups were smaller.
While itâs funny for the factions to be at each otherâs throats over this, the truth is that this whole toxic unplayable mess was caused by Blizzard. The mistakes made by overpopulating servers and allowing rampant imbalances to spiral out of control have brought us to where we are now.
Iâve been trying to get some Stormpike rep on Oceanic in pugs but itâs literally not doable. Why are we constantly fighting 24vs40? Is it really that hard to balance the teams? If you donât want to do that because of #nochanges then I wish you felt that way about spells so I could still have access to my precious Reckoning as it was in Vanilla, and the first 4 months of Classic⊠I have to go and join a premade discord now to have any chance of getting honored before BWL comes out, let alone Exalted.
Horde and Alliance players all do what they can to play within the broken system but a little bit of cooperation from the source of ALL of the issues would be appreciated. When the forum is flooded with BOTH FACTIONS telling you that you dropped the ball with Alterac Valley, maybe you should look into it.

Why canât we have both AV, the 1.12 for folks who want to rush for rep and the 1.5 for those who want that type of experience. I played this game back when it came out years ago, and the change to 1.12 was a large part of why I stopped playing the game after WOTLK expansion. Blizzard got my six month sub to play classic which I did enjoy. I donât have lots of stuff⊠so no you canât have itâŠ
Simply offering both versions should be a win win for everyone. But everytime it gets suggested it turns out a lot of people in favor of 1.5 arenât really in it for the experience they want to force everyone else into it to.
SoâŠme being the nerd I am. I decided to hunt down the OG Alterac Valley. The earliest client I could find was for Patch 1.6, which really just made AV better (stuff didnât respawn that shouldnât and Archers didnât respawn so fast).
The dataâs a bit corrupt (fails to install on a texture for some bracer). But, I did manage to get the Alterac Valley map.

What Retail got was likely just the â1.8 Terrainâ, as one Redditor put it". With some of the 1.5 NPCs dropped in.
Bump, cuz 1.12 AV is terrible.
PvP is more important in classic WoW than many think. A significant portion of the player base is here for the PvP. PvP is the only dynamic environment we have.
What will players be doing after Naxx? WSG, AV, AB, and fighting in cities and the world.

This stupid system theyâve put it is going to result in so many rank13/14âs that have no clue how to actually PVP cause they didnât even have to do any to get there, lmao.
This widely anticipated aspect of classic wow is still unplayable due to the premades and drek pull bug, can we expect a comment or should we all just unsubsrcibe? Ludicrous. A disgrace to whatever was left of Blizzardâs reputation.
If this version of AV was a better one, how do we explain the QQ today?
Because you cannot separate the fact that both would give the same rewards.
bring back the ORIGINAL VANILLA AV PLEASE! The current one is terrible. I am halfway thru revered on alliance and havnât won ONE game.

It genuinely hurts my brain to read this OP in hindsight. Especially given the fact that they put the effort into Korrakâs Revenge, to be the representation of vanilla AV, refused to implement it into classic, but rather gave it to modern retail to play around with for a limited period of time.
