I think it is a starting point but I also think they can do much more.
That is why testing and feedback are vital.

They should first design all Classes and create solid foundations and fundamentals and then design world, monsters and bosses around Classes and their Toolkits. Now its been the opposite and it sucks. This game should never be mathematically judged or designed around raid dps or 3v3. Because it breaks it for everything else. So design encounters and combat and environment around Class Core. Like the best games have always done. Blizzard has abandoned this. Last great one was Starcraft 2. 10 years ago…
I think these changes are massive steps in the right direction for class design. Of course there is more that we could ask for, but we shouldn’t reprimand Blizzard for doing good things. Every class change I saw was either a positive change or neutral for me, I see nothing to complain about.
I think in order for a thread to be derailed, it had to have been on the rails in the first place

Like, lets look at shaman for example. How do you feel the changes being made to shaman don’t view class systems as a priority?

Yes I agree. A good step. I just hope thats not it. We need second step and third step until we are all elevated back into Godhood! Alpha notes simply felt unfinished because I sill compare every spec to Classic, TBC, Wrath, Cata, MoP, WoD and Legion and to their best and worst things overall. Because thats what you have to do if you want to have any legit opinion about anything. You need to know everything. Know tha past Conquer the future!
This is why the testing period of alpha/beta is vital because we have to see how everything comes together. The talent rows are going to be changing a lot more than they led on based on these previews.
As far as I know we will be down to 6 Tiers starting from level 10 upward. Dont mind losing 7th row if they can make rest Talents way more impactful. Hopefully PvP Talents are also gone. I want to use everything all the time if I decide to and situation arises so that they make sense.
I totally agree with removing honor talents. They removed so many abilities/passives just to add them back as honor talents. I think taking things that can enrich our rotations or give us utility in PvE to make war mode appealing is not a good thing

It was mentioned that they wanted specs to give power and utility to part of the classes kit, rather than removing part of that kit (which is what we have now)
The irony in that statement is palpable.
Yes, multi-spec is 100% dead. So yeah, gonna have to roll 3 toons… but it’s not a big suprise. Bliz has always liked to have a serious punishment for multi-spec and this is just the latest tactic. (They really don’t get that rolling multi-toon shouldn’t be easier than multi-spec haha). But, well, multi-toon lets you abuse the time-gates very efficiently.
Still, warrior changes have me stoked! Looks like a lot of fun to me.

I skimmed thru them and thought it was a nice change. Guessing the bulk of it will come thru to live, but who knows.
Im counting on it. BUt its good time to react. Triggered? Nah, you can say whatever you want. I read everything in “deadpan”, unless I see some humor. I just disagree, I thought the changes look pretty good. Unless you get more specific as to the exact why it’s going to be terrible.
