This guy is so frothy he didn’t read the actual thread, since it is just everyone disagreeing with the OP…but had to get your dunk in fast before understanding the situation.
Actually yes you can. So just STOP. The same technical abilities are there for both sides. The limit is not technology or game mechanics. The limit is your overpopulation, which is not a Blizzard problem or code fix.
Yeah, man, humans…
5% spirit and 10% rep, one of the, if not best, pvp racials.
Perception. Won me more arena games than I can count. Absolute BIS.
Lol this argument again. HEY! you guys CAN premade except for that thing stopping you from doing exactly that.
It sure is, if they deemed the process to form AV cross-faction premades was unintentional.
good for them finding a way to win in the unbalanced AV. unbalanced map. racials. starting position. and % of AFK’ers.
good for them.
I actually read every post as I laid in bed waking up. These forums are entertainment and I was entertained. The conversation deviated a bit but the bulk was horde upset that ally could premade again
I see exactly 1 guy upset because he thinks they alliance could premade, everyone else doubting it…and then the normal Alliance tribalistic drivel that tends to ooze out of alts.
I am not sure where you see “the bulk of horde” being upset over new Alliance premades though.
I don’t know who the bottom two people are, but you didn’t mention the biggest: Asmongold. Who Esfand latched onto, remora-like. I’ll give you Monkeynews and Staysafe, who were moderately popular. Jokerd only got famous after launch because he was world 1st. Athene is still around, thought he was banned? Besides, I figured he got GRID years ago and passed away. RIP Athene
Horde side you had Sodapoppin, the guild Method - most prominent being Venruki and Cdew, Preach, the hispanic looking kid who bleaches his hair Sonii, Payo, Tips and his hangers on, Kargoz and his hangers on. There was another efamous non wow streamer in the beta hordeside whose name I can’t remember. Dark hair, wispy beard, bit of a chunky burnout, played an ud rogue. Anyway, point is horde had plenty of streamers and other detritus too.
I don’t ever mention Asmon. He’s cancer. Esfand built his infamy from Light’s Hope. He likes to pretend he didn’t.
a software tool designed to take advantage of a flaw in a computer system, typically for malicious purposes such as installing malware.
This is one of the definitions.
make full use of and derive benefit from (a resource).
This is another definition of exploit.
They are taking advantage of the que system to gain a benifit and while they do this it has a negative effect effect for those who are not in the premade, either malicious intent is there or not it is harmful to those who are ‘supposed’ to be on their team but are not part of the premade.
These premades have main AV matches that start short of multiple people for allies because they joined, found they didn’t have a majority of their premade and left, or found they had the majority and tried to kick those not in their premade to get their friends in.
So it has taking advantage of a computer system for self benifit while also being malicious or harmful to ‘teammates’ that are not part of their premade.
So yes it’s an exploit.
Please read this thread carefully especially what you write and what others reply you to
It’s sad I have to point this out:
Arenas are not out yet.
Perception is a cool down, not passive, that helps very little in battlegrounds, unless you saw a rogue stealth beforehand.
I use it nonstop. Literally every BG.
Please stop trying to make alliance seem like trash underdogs. They definitely have their advantages.
fake news… isn’t happening
Weird how China has no gold medals in basketball… I wonder if it is something inherent or they just have no skill… But then you take the Central African Republic who has no medals and you say, hmm all the characteristics are there… I wonder if its the size of the talent pool.
It seems like the biggest problem is not the head start but the fact that H killed at contested IBGY spawn at the cave. Changing that wouldn’t make the map “even” but it might let A eke out 15% or so.
RandomIzing starting locations would be pretty inauthentic to vanilla.
I explained how something was an exploit.
You said I didn’t understand what an exploit was.
I proved you wrong and now your saying I need to read more carefully.
Maybe you originally replied to the wrong text then? Because I relied to your reply on my comment on how premades exploited the que system for their benifit in a way that hurt others.
Maybe you should reread what you replied to and my replies to your replies…
I would be totally on-board with forcing people to spawn at graveyards instead of the tunnel if your team owns a graveyard.
The problem with that is that is an explicit change that was added in TBC. The same sort of change that was used to argue against linking Warmasters to Drek’Thar when people were kiting them away.
The argument went: We know this was fixed later, but since it wasn’t fixed until after Vanilla was over…it should stay in Classic.
Let me restate, I am all for forcing people to spawn at graveyards…I think that is how it was intended to be. But if we change that, we can no longer use the argument “it was fixed after Vanilla, so we have to leave it alone.”
Regardless if it was fixed after vanilla or not, the argument is always really about whether a given problem is so bad that it needs an inauthentic change. And that always depends on a lot of factors like how inauthentic the change is and how bad the problem is. Doesn’t really depend on what was done in BC or later.
