It’s fun having someone visit to see what you’ve done, but people do cause havoc leaving every door open. Would be nice if we could set them to close after a certain amount of time (in addition to disabling interaction entirely).

I agree.
When I visit someone’s house, I use the “door left open” feature to mark where I’ve been. I’ve seen people close the door every time as if being polite, which they are. I think a timer would make a lot of sense.
