Allow Anyone To Buy Previous Expansion's Elite PvP Sets

Let the average PvE player purchase previous expansion’s Elite Seasonal PvP sets from the PvP vendors for Marks of Honor WITHOUT the prerequisite of having been there during the specific season.

Locking the average player from acquiring a previous expansion’s armor set with a specific coloration that would be perfect for their transmog is extremely frustrating. Full exclusivity for PvP players is a terrible practice, especially when we’re talking about basic armor recolors. (For example, Dragonflight S2 Elite PvP sets are literally just blue recolors of that expansion’s raid gear)

If an expansion has become legacy content and fallen out of relevancy compared to the current expansion, all of it’s Elite PvP Seasonal armor recolors should be available to all players. I can’t tell you how irritating it is to preview the Elite recolor items in the vendor and see how perfect it would fit your transmog, only to find out it’s unobtainable forever and the only way you could’ve got it was by sweating on PvP during a specific season years ago.

The requirement to be able to buy ONE old elite pvp set should be 2800-3000 rating across an entire expansions three seasons. Be that good and you deserve the set. Otherwise, should’ve been there and should’ve done that. When it was only 1800 rating.

Careful, we have a guy on this board who really hates suggestions like this and comes out of his hovel to scream about how the elite rewards need to be vaulted forever, even if you point out that all of the PvP sets since WoD S2 have been recolored PvE sets. But I’m totally in favor of being able to buy legacy elite ensembles and arsenals if you hit a certain rating in the current season.

They wanted to add vicious saddles but for elite sets in legion and the player base got so upset blizzard backed down in less then 24 hours.

Sorry, ain’t happening with the special snowflake pvp crowd.

People would be even more mad if the sets were unique and they couldn’t get them. At least they are recolors now. PvP needs an incentive and timed rewards get people playing. If you truly want a set, you should get it when it’s easy. 1800 is easy.

I think beating people up and being better than others should be it’s own reward. If you need some special mount or armor you aren’t in it for the love of the game

Or, let it stay within the realm of PVP.

If you get to 2k rated in a season you get a “token” that let’s you buy an old elite set.

We ain’t just giving you PVErs sets without doing some PVP
