It would certainly add a whole new twist to the phrase “sowing wild oats” and “the birds and the bees” at least.
Well that should of be an option not a standard. And as rp goes and for the wretched call back to the belves. There should be the crack head recovering elves option, and the option where that some elves that were so stupidly privileged and played it smart not to exiled or even go through the withering process at all. Tbh it was a missed opportunity for us to not get Withered Elves.
Actually, if Allied Races continue, with the death theme of the Shadowlands, Taunka would be a shoe-in for the Horde, but would the Vrykul be a good fit for the Alliance?
On the one hand, they worship the Lich King as the Death God, but on the other hand, Bolvar is a very different Lich King in both operation and philosophy. Furthermore, the Northrend Vrykul are extremely proud of the purity of their heritage and despise their runt offspring and descendants.
We might end up with a number of Bolvar worshipping Vrykul opposed to a larger force of Vrykul who would see one of their own on the Frozen Throne, especially given that the Afterlife is right over their heads now and the new Lich King has so drastically failed both them and the world itself.
Honestly, I’d prefer it went the opposite way. Vrykul for Horde and Taunka for the Alliance. Because the Horde basically abandoned the Taunka after the war with the Lich King, and the Taunka are a might upset about that (In my headcanon, at least).
Plus Vrykul are basically Kul Tiran Humans, and while I know Blizzard loves to double dip for the Alliance Glances at the Adeptus Gnomechanicus and Lightforged, I’d like to see some different races for the Alliance.
We need more actual Beast races. Far too many Humans of Varying Sizes and Skin Colors.
Saurok work with the Kul’tiramisuian pirates. That would be a fun twist for the Alliance to deal with.
Alternatively, the Jinyu / Ankoan angle would be an easy solution.
Gnolls converted to the Light could be a awkward but juicy moment of WHAT for the Alliance to process.
Or Blizzard could just reach back up their backside and pull from the same place that Ren’dorei came from for a new Allied Race for us.
Stillpine Furblog would also be acceptable and one I’ve been waiting for since BC.
Azerite mutated Furbolgs. Hell, Kajamite mutated the Goblins into what they are today, what would raw Titan Blood do to primitive Bear People?
<cries in Pandaren>
Hah.
But in all seriousness, Furbolgs to look like Worgen with bear heads, thicker limbs and copious amounts of fur.
No female chihuahuas, give us our husky wimmenz, Blizzard.
"So… Where’s the bear skin rug… "
Furbolg looks at you and grins
"Ooooooooh I see… "
This is what the original Drogbar were supposed to look like in Legion. But a variant of them could make for some pretty neat mutant furbolgs.
Literally yes. I think Drogbar models would work great for playable Furbolgs.
I’m still cravin’ some Sethrak demon summonin’. Or even just Zandalari warlocks. Or more warlocks in general.
Let’s go crazy here, but what about eredars that were messed up by the destruction of argus and rebuilt themselves with their technology? I think folks would have much preferred mechadraeneis with terrifying fel tech instead of whatever mechagnomes are(im still making a warlock one tho).
The flesh is weak. Give me necrolords and mechanized eredars.
I want arrakoa really badly
i dont want allied races.
i want to be able to leave horde/alliance
remain neutral, or join another faction if i wanted
I’m pretty disappointed that an Ethereal plot point wasn’t even explored in BFA. Been wanting these guys for years and Void Elves partnering with them gave some serious hope. So bummed.
Same - I was actually super looking forward to some kind of major Ethereal plot point, considering where we left off in Legion. I was so disappoint.
Also, give me playable bug people, or give me death! …I’ll still keep playing as them, anyway, and no one can stop me! …Unless Blizzard nerfs the fun on Reflecting Prisms, in which case I shall cry ugly bug tears in a cave somewhere.
