Ah, I see the confusion. I meant, the Alliance is also made up of races that hate races in the Horde.
âThey ruined Silvermoon! Damned Blood Elves!â
⌠huh thatâs not what I was talking about at all.
I was talking about the fact belves hated undead and trolls.
Zandalari hated pandas.
Undead, when human, hated orcs.
Then you implied there were races that warred against each other in the Alliance too.
Allied races are done. Theyâre a major pita for assets and balancing racials. Anything like an Allied Race will likely come in the form of character customization like the Dark Elves.
Oh, no, the Alliance is one big happy family. Sort of. Thing is, its also made up of people whom generally have good reason to dislike the races of the Horde. Thus, a perfect fit for some Saberon.
Her point was that doesnât really apply when the Horde is also made up of people who generally have good reason to dislike the races of the Horde.
Lol thank you. I was just typing that out.
Iâm well aware. My point is, why would the Saberon join the Horde? For most races in the Horde, it comes off as a, âWell, what other choice do I have,â sort of dilemma? The Saberon arenât faced with that problem.
If thereâs a single tribe who just got marooned in a wasteland on another planet that have a very good reason to be scared of Draenei, they kinda are.
Donât under estimate Blizzardâs ability to cobble together a thin backstory around events that no one knew happened⌠ala Void ElvesâŚ
Because the tauren are right there and weâre nice.
Plus WE saved them from a dying planet, not the Alliance.
Why should they be scared of Draenei? Seems like theyâre much more frightened of Orcs, judging by the way they ran away from the Horde.
I knew I liked those snakes!!
Donât forget, these kitties come from the âfutureâ AU Draenor which is 90% under oppressive rule of Lightbound Draenei who donât seem to really be okay with anyone not also Lightbound. They might not like orcs but I bet they like Draenei less.
Yrel did nothing wrong.
Well, thatâs the Magâharâs story. We donât know the Draeneiâs side of that story at all. And, again, we didnât exactly see Saberon curling up on Geyaârahâs lap after coming to Azeroth.
I mean, the Horde player sees it firsthand. Couple that with the religious pamphlets you can find and it doesnât leave a lot of wiggle room for the Lightbound being real friendly with anyone left on that planet.
They just got forcibly yanked through a dimensional rift, of course they arenât going to stick around. Doesnât mean they wonât turn to the lesser evil when straits get dire, or like Tovi said, turn to the Tauren who would probably literally let them curl up in their living rooms if they asked even slightly politely.
LOL what? They were there to experience it. They ran from the Lightforged Draenei. The orcs and friends saved them. The orcs and friends defended them from the evil space goats. And the orcs and friends own the territory they settled in.
When it comes down to it Blizzard can do what they want but the ground work for them to be Horde is there.
We love all.
Canât say I quite agree. Maybe we should wait and see what Magâhar propaganda is floating around Draenei settlements before jumping to any conclusions?
Again, we only have one side of the story here.
Hell, the Night Elves would probably welcome them as well, if not the Worgen.
You have proof of where those Saberon settled?
And letâs be honest, they didnât save the Saberon or Botani from the Draenei, those two were along for the ride and then fled, as if the Magâhar were just as bad, if not worse, than whatever people seem to think Yrel and her lot are.
Still waiting for Yrelâs side of events in AU Draenor.
Given what we know now about how oppressive the Naaru can be if given half a chance, itâs a pretty well supported side of the story. But sure, weâll see.
I donât really get the impression that Night Elves are feeling real welcoming at present.
