Itās a shame that some races just havenāt gotten so much intersection, or any interest, to want to have a mega thread where they are commented on and in which people show their common interest!
The devs themselves asked the community which races would be of interest to players to see in Warcraft as playable!
And yet, we have void belves as a playable race, which is just a blood elves rip off!
Not being a High Elf, I have no problem suggesting arakkoas!
And frankly, if we have void belves extracted from the thin air (a race that doesnāt even have lore) added to the game, we could have arakkoas, among others, which have more history than void belves!

I would love to have arakkoa as a playable race, but I doubt Blizz will go back to WoD to gather more content after how badly that expansion failed.

But thereās a massive difference between essentially giving people the untainted, brown skinned orcs theyād been asking for since Classic and actively going back to a failed xpac to pull a race specifically from one of itās zones that relies heavily on the lore from said xpac.
Like I said, I would absolutely love to play an Arakkoa. Iād prefer that to Nightfallen or Zandalari trolls. But I donāt see Blizz going back to WoD any time soon to reference it heavily.

Agreed, but thereās also the fact that several other races escaped into Azeroth from Alternate Draenor, with myself actually catching an Arakkoa escaping with the Magāhar and heading east of Durotar. WHY they were running that direction eludes me, but thereās no telling whatās going on.
We could just as easily find a way to cure the Arakkoa from Outlands (if any are still around by chance because theyāre pretty much extinct by now).
Also, we have to take into consideration that if the leaks for Shadowlands are at all plausible then we might be able to see the Arakkoa that escaped AU Draenor into the Shadowlands of OUR world.
But as you said, it is ActiBlizzās call in the end. We just need to make sure they know thereās still an active audience for the Arakkoa.
