Allied DK, Void Elf Demon Hunters?

Do you know how the original demon form looked like?

I don’t think it possible for void elf to be death knights? With dead your basically just evaluating them up to death knights. Void elf is a whole new game. As they have a void being in body.

It’s mentioned in the Illidan book. The orcs could handle the ritual, so he focused on creating fel orcs instead.

Maybe one day when we eventually get another Legion expansion, we could see illidari start training new DHs.

Though I strongly suspect when Sargeras returns, it will be as an ally.

You people complain about lack of class identity, but then want every race with every class. Racial restrictions are also part of class identity, it makes their lore matter to gameplay.

I think we are forever stuck with what we have for the DH races. I wish to god however Blizzard would toss a bone to Dk’s for races to pick from. I want my Zandalari Dk.

Though i agree, no new demon hunters.

That argument doesnt really hold up, there can always be a resurgence.

Just look at dks. Arthas is dead and the scourge defeated. Dks are no longer needed, and the knights of the ebon blade kinda dont have a purpose. Making new dks doesnt make sense.

Yet here we are looking at potentially new dks, which would likely come with a new start zone. (Huge assumption and speculation there)

There could be a resurgence of the legion causing the need for demon hunters to go recruiting. Who knows.

I would play a Void Elf DH in a second!

Honestly not even sure. But I bet you anything its not an humanoid who absorbed a demon who absorbed a void essence  Perhaps they are created by Void Lords and Warlocks pull them from the twisting nether/

Yes I do, but I’m saying it just sounds weird. I’m allowed to have an opinion :stuck_out_tongue: A Demon Hunter is a humanoid who absorbed a demon, and then you want them to absorb a void entity.

I don’t mind if they make them, just saying it sounds weird to me :stuck_out_tongue:

Void elf pally.

And dont gimme that lore crap when we have void elf holy priests, lightforged shadow priests, and TROLL PALADINS

In fairness, I love weirdness.

Was discussing it with my friend enough to make my brain hurt, but if you guys want it, ask for it at this point. I just remember all the DH’s in Legion that turned into a demon if they had too much demon exposure, they lost control. So figured what would happen if you had demon and void combined in a humanoid like that? He pointed out the demon in the class hall thats a Lightforged one, so I spose anything is possible

I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again: I would race change to a void elf so fast the internet would catch fire. However, I don’t advocate for it, because lore-wise it doesn’t work and is kind of silly, and I hope Blizzard doesn’t allow it.

but if they do, bam, I’ll be a void elf demon hunter.

Yes please.

With awesome void effects.

That or give Paladins a “Void Knight” spec/skin option.

Or hecka both!

Paladins are not priests. Priests function on the “light can’t exist without shadow” principle, hence why they have both, but they only channel their magic. Paladins do not follow such a thing, they infuse themselves with light. Void elves are already infused with void so they would be destroyed by the process of becoming a paladin the same way they’d be destroyed trying to become a demon hunter.

Void elves would have their void purged by all of the fel energy that demon hunters take in, so they wouldn’t really work in the lore. It would look pretty cool, though.

Death Knights are WoW’s anti-paladin class, so they’d have to do something to differentiate from those guys
Maybe just a plate-wearing void class?

Makes sense lorewise and give people that want to play Demon Hunters a option that isn’t a Elf.

It’s simple to throw some Orc and Draenei Demon Hunter NPC’s back in Legion content to make it more natural.

But normal Draenei would be the only way possible since we don’t have playable Broken models.
