They love to leave this detail out. Because it doesnt reaffirm their vicim complex. The fight that was put forward was epic. That is the honorable death in combat orcs are always talking about (aside from the civilians in Teldrassil).
I will never, ever forget the hilarious absurdity of Turalyon on Argus telling any of my Orcs, but my Death Knight especially, that “It is nice to see new, friendly faces. It has been so long since I have seen another man from Azeroth!”
They dont lose every engagement. The Horde wins as many Faction Assaults as they lose. They also win many of the mission table battles.
So? The North lost nearly every battle of the Civil War didnt stop them from winning in the end. Losing battles doesn’t mean you lose the war.
Heroes of power mean nothing we nearly killed Jaina without a single hero to help us.
The Night Elf military that had left for Silithus actually showed up during the War of Thorns it wasn’t just civilians. We routed them completely and stole several of their ships.
So the Horde was stronger at the end but only due to underhanded tactics by Sylvanas and the help of the Naga rather than any combat prowess on the Hordes part.
Basically the Horde is stronger but only when they are stabbing their enemies in the back or acting dishonorably. In a fair fight they pretty much lose most of the time.
The Naga attacked the Horde as well. Thats why the Zandalari are absent from the end of the War.
This is war not checkers. And the Alliance didn’t act with honor every time either the attack on the Zandalari for example was unnecessary bloodshed when destroying the ships was all that was required.
And battles are rarely even or fair. Most of the time one side has the advantage over the other in some way.
Gettysburg was the only one that really mattered. And they would have lost had they not been extremely lucky and intercepted the orders from a runner.
there were three heroes that assisted in the fight against Jaina. Nathanos, Talanji, and Rokhan.
We did not put a scratch on Jaina.
The horde could barely defeat the elves with a 8 to 1 advantage, the element of surprise, super weapons, and the entire might of the horde.
on the Broken Shore, the horde took the ridge while the Alliance fought Guldan. Despite having the harder front with more difficult enemies, the alliance were WINNING, meanwhile the horde was completely overrun.
Heroes are not very important…on the horde side, because we have crap for heroes. On the alliance side, they have heroes capable of DESTROYING ORGIMARR.
the only victories against the alliance came from the naga
The alliance managed to defeat the blood trolls, something the horde could not do
There is NOTHING to suggest the horde is not in a pathetic state. The horde has failed practically everything they have done for the past 4 years.
Nazmir? we failed.
Voldun? we failed.
Dazalaor? we failed.
UC? we failed
Highlands? failed
Darkshore? failed
war campaign? failed
The horde military is so weak and pathetic, that we have to be bailed out by the alliance time and time again. Even when the alliance is our enemy, they bailed us out and took out a major enemy we could not defeat, the blood trolls.
If BFA is meant for the horde to find its identity, then our identity is failure.
None of them fought Jaina except Nathanos at the very end.
Wrong she was actually wounded which is why she ran.
It wasn’t an 8-1 advantage the entire Night Elf military showed up in the middle part of the war and we still pounded them. Also we didn’t invade with the full might of the Horde sure it was a massive army but it was not the entire military.
The Alliance was not winning it was a trap Gul’dan only made it seem like they were winning. Also the Horde faced 3 legion ships and several named demons the moment we reached the ridge we were instantly pounded by the ships lasers and portals trapped us unleashing Pitlords and other named demons.
And we didn’t have a gunship to blast our named enemies down like the Alliance did.
No one on the Alliance has the power to destroy Org. Jaina had to use a magical artifact from the titans even get close.
False. We won several of the faction assaults on our own.
They didnt defeat the Blood Trolls. They took one Blood Troll village thats it. The Horde had already beat them to a bloody pulp before the Alliance even showed up.
You obviously missed this part then.
Both of them admit they dont have the numbers. This is stated again when you take Razor Hill. The Alliance with Horde help can’t even scrounge up enough numbers to beat a fraction of the Horde.
Now the Horde is united as never before the forsaken are fully in the fold.
On the other hand the Alliance is divided and severely weakened.
It’s nice to have the win in Darkshore, though Arathi may remain split between the two factions, given there’s a Horde settlement there. I don’t really care if it’s not expressed in game so long as the lore confirms it in some way.
It would be nice to have it expressed in game, but… baby steps. Plus Darkshore was kind of shown in game, given the world boss.
