Alliance will quit pvp

I disagree. They could delete shamans from the game and balance the racials tomorrow and horde would still outnumber alli 50-1 inside of BRM.

Open world pvp has and will always be just a way for the dominant faction to grief the minority. And once one faction starts to become the majority it just snowballs from there as more people in the minority quit, re roll to a pve server, or transfer off.

Would have never happened had they not allowed for the creation of classes that can 1v4ā€¦ yet again.

No they wouldnā€™t lol. Youā€™re literally wrong. People wouldnā€™t re-roll faction/class if that was the case, and the snowball wouldnā€™t happen.

Iā€™ll repeat. Easiest solution is a PvP modifier brought in on classes that the blanket nerfs didnā€™t harm that bring them down to everyone elseā€™s level AND adjust the struggling classes up. On top of that, buff further the faction specific class on Alliance side. After all of that, make a way to change our racials OR give us opt-outs on the PvP events (not WPvP altogether in other zones). WPvP is annoying for alliance with major horde advantages along with BGs, but they arenā€™t untenable. What is untenable is the main dungeon we need to get gear and xp from for Phase 4ā€™s first raid being inaccessible due to corpse running and rezz timers because they decided it was smart to make a PvP event literally on top of it without an opt-out feature.

The solution is clearly to make paladins insanely OP. Iā€™m talking 2k exorcism and holy shock crits.

The damage is done. But when you look at ironforge .pro data, the factions were still close to 50/50. The amount of people that re rolled horde to play OP shamans is less than you think. Iā€™ve won countless bgā€™s as horde on teams where we donā€™t have a single shaman. They are strong but theyā€™re far from the god class that is causing the faction balance problems.

There are more paladins on alli Crusader strike (NA) than shamans according to ironforgeā€™s latest data. Shamans are actually the lowest played class overall. How do you explain that?

IMO the current issue is a lot of pve focused players rolled PvP servers to follow streamers or to play on the largest server. Horde players rolled on PvP servers because they want to PvP and want the best racials.

These alli players that donā€™t really like world PvP transferred off, quit, or re rolled to pve. Now you see the huge imbalance in BRM. Wild growth (NA and EU) pve servers have the most alli players out of every sod server. The most populated sod servers for horde are living flame (EU) and CS (NA) both pvp servers.

Then please explain why Alliance loses nearly every single battleground? It isnā€™t cuz of racials. Racials I could see being a 60/40 win ratio, but not a 90/10 ratio. Everyone who Qs up for a battleground wants PvP so that has nothing to do with PvE.

Iā€™m reminded of this thread made by a paladin regarding the book vendor disappearing briefly last Tuesday, something to the effect of ā€œBlizzard nerfed Paladins!ā€

And it was just so on brand for Paladinsā€¦ and evidently the alliance in general?
(For context, Iā€™m using shammy magic to do BRM and AV at the same timeā€¦ queue AV, hearth to Karg go to BRM for extra honor, accept Q pop.)

The Horde have lost the last 4 games (since I got back on) to alliance PvE Rushesā€¦and presently have a full raid group trap exploiting and AoEā€™ing the Searing Gorge entrance to BRMā€¦ against about 12 horde players.

And then I come in here and see this lovely sockpuppet ā€œShamanā€ whose only topic is about heā€™s winning all the AVsā€¦And Iā€™ve not seen him in one. Notā€¦ one.

Iā€™ve seen Alliance I recognize from the forums in more AVs than this ā€œShaman.ā€

Valheim Ashlands is out so there is always that. That game was the only other game that sucked me in like WoW did, in the last 20 years, oh that and Wildstar.

Had a successful Blackrock event today on layer 2. Bout 55 to 45% horde and alliance.

Held most of the mountain til the last 15mins

Restored some hope in crusader strike. We just need organization.

Also, hunter traps are extremely oppressive. Frost trap needs to last 10 seconds max itā€™s kind of insane.

hehe wildstar was awesome  .

This is the truth. They did irreparable damage in phase 3.

How can they learn from their mistakes when the people running the show think everything is fine? Hopefully Funcom, Amazon or Riot somehow is able to come up with something to challenge Walmar er Blizzard or those of us that play this Genre are SCREWED!

My guild and i griefed BRM in vanilla with 2 other guilds on mannoroth server. That was BRM in a nutshell. If we werent griefing there, we waited for the horde guild to pull the world bosses and kill them.
Even if they didnt have an event there, people would have parties set up there because its a great place to pvp. Fresh meat for the slaughter most of the time.

This isnt new, this isnt a SOD thing.

Thatā€™s crazy because Iā€™m halfway to exalted idk what to tell you. Glad Iā€™m rent free living in your head, that you actively check for me.

Every time a new version of classic is released people flock to pvp servers, and every time there are nonstop complaints about how the sort of pvp happening on pvp servers isnā€™t fair and must be stopped.

I just wish horde would stop forcing turtles when they already have a huge map advantage.

the turtle is the map advantage.

Imagine how Horde feel in Catalysm where Humans got PvP trinket as racials and can use 2 trinkets instead of 1 in PvP. Horde have no advantage in PvP. Humans in classic can see stealthed, OP PvP racial.

Gee its almost like AV was not designed to be face rolled or somethingā€¦if only there was a version of AV where players couldnā€™t do thatā€¦

90% of those double trinket Humans are ex Horde, who faction changed to PvP. The same humans who didnā€™t PvP in tbc didnā€™t suddenly start. The PvP community chases the meta, which I assume you are insinuating which is correct.
