There’s no tactical or logistical advantage for the Horde to want Darkshore, unless of course you’re saying that the Horde might want to continue to antagonize the night elves. Which would sort of undercut the peace established at the end of the faction war and the directive of the new Horde war council.
Anduin would be a fool to maintain the truce if the Horde decided to just occupy Darkshore for no reason. He’d essentially be casting the night elves and the worgen out of the Alliance.
