WrA-RP’s Tavern Project will be sponsoring walk up RP in Stormwind at the Blue Recluse! Join us for the Grand Reopening on Tuesday, April 22nd at 6 PM ST.
One of the key concerns for Alliance RPers is the lack of walk up RP opportunities in Stormwind. The Blue Recluse has the best tavern facility in the city - there aren’t too many NPCs placed in seating. There’s no disruptive disco ball. And the city doesn’t phase. New or low level characters can reach Stormwind and join in the fun!
Our plan is to start with a regular, scheduled RP event and gradually expand, with the goal being to use the tavern, the porch and the surrounding courtyard for walk up or whatever IC business RPers want to bring. We have a number of people who’ve volunteered to try their hand at bartending, and lots of interested patrons!
This is open for ALL WrA RPers, not just people from the Discord! Looking forward to seeing you there!

Bumping to the top to mention that we’re having small bits of RP in Stormwind or the Blue Recluse every few days. We’ve had a few random, walk-up encounters and some mini-plots as well

It’s kind of rude to talk about leaving WrA in a thread dedicated to bringing WRA Stormwind rp back. Especially when this event is literally happening tonight, you could attend instead of doomsaying.

Huge shoutout to all the people putting in effort to cultivate RP, not just on WRA-A but across the entire server. Everyone here appreciates the work you do, and I’m grateful that even though we might not have the quantity, we certainly have the quality.

…We were supposed to reach out to you about a public event that went on for hours and had a very good attendance when you could have come through the Recluse door at any time? You are bringing this on yourself at this point.

Thanks to the people who came out! We had about 20 people +/-, including 2 bartenders! There were stories, jokes, curious drinks, adorable pets, and a couple of small plot devices.
We’ll probably do it again in 2 weeks! It mostly depends on our bartenders’ schedules and Tuesdays seem to be their best day.
