Let’s say the Horde do boycott the Warmode as suggested and get the bonus. I just foresee the Alliance who keep Warmode on to be the next abused punching bags from 40 vs. 1 raids getting the 400 ilvl loot. Eventually, players on both factions may leave in realization they are here to have fun rather than die in one second to AoEs everywhere. This may ultimately result in neither side completing the quest because the ones who are there only for the loot won’t be there if the opposite faction has the buff.
As for the topic on hand, I am more inclined to agree with Byucknah. Drawing in PvE players who don’t want to be there is not going to create the PvP environment we want.
