Isn’t she already dead? When we saved the Mag’har and left her and her group behind alternate Draenor was about to collapse.
The only issue with that is, the Alliance has never been able to do that without the Horde helping them. And I don’t see that happening any time soon.
I raise you something more complex:
add antagonistic sub-groups within each faction.
I love the Defias story because it added flavor to the humans. Before them, they were jsut this bland race who were righteous and never did any wrong.
What an actual joke, changed the title and first post
This is a good idea.
The horde have had plenty of this but it hasn’t really been explored with the Alliance.
We should have some group of people that have been hurt by the Horde in the past refuse to honor the kings peace and strike out at them, destroying a city or killing a key leader, etc and reigniting conflict.
Impossible. No one picked the Alliance to play the “bad guy”. No one who isn’t trolling anyway.
Water is wet . Getting stabbed or shot hurts and the Eagles probably won’t win another superbowl in my lifetime.
What’s your point? Just move on if you don’t celebrate it.

I agree but stay out of Thunder Bluff. Torch Org, that needs to be rebuilt.

But the Horde are literally the villains of the entire franchise.
It just made for interesting gameplay to let you play as them in the RTS games, and that carried over to WoW.
The Horde are the bad guys. You can’t then be upset that you picked the literal villain side and don’t get the hero treatment.
Although, I feel that Jaina should have flooded Org when she had the chance.

The Horde are not the villains of the entire franchise. This title goes to Sargeras and the Burning Legion. Even still, there are multiple actual villains with worse crimes under their belt such as Deathwing or Arthas Menethil. The New Horde have been heroes for longer then they’ve been villains at this rate.
I would have agreed before BFA… but that expansion honestly killed my interest in the faction conflict all together. No one seemed happy with it - it was unsatisfying for both sides, with Alliance coming off as utterly pathetic trauma victims and Horde players once again being shoe-horned into one side of a Horde Civil War at the expense of iconic Horde characters including another awesomely written Warchief (at least before BFA) because Blizzard can’t think of another idea other than “Make the Warchief the bad guy.”
Let’s just let the faction conflict die - the current developers are incapable of doing it well.
Should have left the thread how it was and continued to let the river of tears flow Blom.
I’d argue the main reason they haven’t gone down this route, is that Aliiance players specifically play Alliance to be the ‘good guys’.
It’s like how Horde is basically shoehorned to be ‘good’ these days, but players originally rolled Horde to be, well, evil lol.
I wish there was a neutral faction, but everyone would probably join it and it’d become the majority in WoW lol, so maybe not. I just really like both sides.

Did they? I mean, I’ve seen many people from both factions claiming otherwise; how Horde players played it after what Warcraft III had established, and how Alliance players want the roles reversed with them as Sylvanas and Garrosh. There are some people in both factions playing it for that respective element, but I think it’s unrealistic to assume that players originally rolled Horde in general to be evil and that players rolled Alliance to be good.
Generally, I think that’s the case lol.
I certainly rolled Undead back in the day, to terrorize humans lol.
And I’m sure all the Human Paladins did so to feel like Superman.
the alliance have always been evil but hidden behind sanctimonious bright lights. ![]()
remember when their giant christmas ornament tried to “have it’s way” with Illidan?
Turalyon is a great cult leader too.
At least Garrosh only blew up a town. ![]()

I feel like Horde is split between people who want Warcraft 2 Horde and people who want Warcraft 3 Horde.
I recall there being quite a few complaints about the Horde being made out to be the bad guys back when the whole thing with Garrosh was happening.
