Goofy feet?! How dare you… Kaldorei women are beautiful! starts casting smite
Then go nelf imo. Ultimately you should play what you enjoy. Plus shadowmelding into a fear and melt is hilarious.
I found it funny that I was reading your statement very seriously about being a priestess of Elune then I glanced at your name…
-Magni Bronzebeard is your king.
-Amazing beards for males, and every female is a gem in the rough.
-Not absurdly tall, or short.
-Best /laugh & /gloat.
-Great addition to any tavern.
-I could go on forever…
Dwarves are undeniably the most enjoyable race to play, but I still think it worthwhile to play other races.
Um it’s a family name. My parents were Druidic cucumber farmers, why does that make my commitment to Elune any less serious?
Play what you’ll enjoy looking at for hundreds/thousands of hours.
In many scenarios, yes, Dwarf is superior.
As you know, however, the Horde manages just fine without Fear Ward.
And… the female Dwarves are adorable, with that little yell they do!
Dwarf racials are overall really good, and the thing with fear ward is that while it’s only useful in a few fights, it’s soo crucial for those fights that is mandatory to have.
If you plan on getting very serious with Raiding and progression then yeah you should go dwarf, if not you can just play whatever you like the most.
Fear ward is the only reason people want to use player models that are as disgusting as male dwarves.
says the belf. the belf model looks awful and dwarves as one of the coolest races in the game. (along with gnomes, orcs, and tauren)
Dwarves are awesome. It’s only a shame that the beard covers the tabard. It’s really hard to beat Desperate Prayer/Stoneform/Fear Ward trinity. If you’re on a PvE server and just want to level, Night Elves can level with their mana efficient Star Shards. The other Night Elf Priest racial is rather lackluster as I don’t think you can dodge while casting, which you are doing quite often. Lastly, Shadowmeld on top of a Lotus spawn could be valuable if you just want to chill out and do something else.
Desperate Prayer has amazing PvP/survivability utility, however, and you can still get that as a Human. This one spell makes Horde Priest and Alliance Priests feel
like a completely different experience whenever I try to level a Horde Priest.
Edit You cannot cast Fear Ward while in Shadowform. This means that you might not have high uptime on yourself for world PvP encounters as it is quite inconvenient having to spend excess amounts of mana just keeping it active.
All dwarves do is grow long beards, get drunk, and make weapons and armor. That’s literally every dwarf from every fantasy universe ever. So boring.
At least Dark Irons hate everyone and have fire coursing through their bodies, and Wildhammer dwarves command the skies and live in nature. Bronzebeard (player) dwarves?
“AHM DRUNK AN’ I LOVE TAE FIGHT!!!”
Yawn.
in all the years combined I have never seen so many female dwarves as I do now
i have normal and DID dwarves. the bronzebeard dwarves have better beards.
i like to /flirt them
Fear Ward is incredibly useful. It is instant cast, 30-second cooldown, and lasts 10 minutes on the target. That means your entire group will be immune to the first fear in every WPvP encounter. There is also the utility of fear immune tanks in the relevant raid boss encounters.
That said, I am a human. Feedback is super fun (underpowered, but super fun), and Desperate Prayer is indispensible. Plus, I have extra spirit and my toon is pretty.

Girl doorfs are adorfable! roll one!
Haha, that’s actually what I ended up rolling. I ran her to Darnassus. Love the NE zones! Thanks, everybody.
If you’re going to hardcore raid and min max then go dwarf.
If you’re going to pvp, it’s absolutely clear that dwarf is the best and going anything else would be silly.
For casual play that includes some light raiding and dungeons, any of them are fine. I’d pick Human for desperate prayer. Night elves are the worst pick but if you really like the way they look and you aren’t a hardcore player then it’s fine. Just know people may pick a dwarf priest over you if they’re picky, but most people are just happy to have heals
Which never happens. Equal gear and skill is rare enough, unless you’re taking applications for an in demand guild. At that point, if their gear and skill are equal, their attitude is likely more important than if they’re dwarf or not
