This.

ALL top mythic guilds have loyalty only to the spreadsheet. None of them care which faction they’re in…only if it serves the spreadsheet.

That’s just how it is. There might be a lot of mythic raiding groups out there who have faction loyalty but the world-first race guys? The ones at the top? Nah. They go where the win is.

yup the night elves one of the main reasons the allaince isnt as popular as the horde

That’s sad. It’s like they missed the whole point of the game.

Or i thought it was because papa blizzard had to help their special children because their population was so low .

Giving them bloodelfs and broken racials!.

But you know ugly furry . . . u r right its our fault.

MB!

have you seen the horde races? they all have broken racials XD that part of my point that the horde just gets betetr races

Population wise the Horde outnumbers us, but it’s not super bad. The bad part comes in the form of actual competitive raiding and M+. Even finding a semi-hardcore guild is becoming a challenge because all the players who want that sort of thing have gone Horde. And don’t even get me started on WM, even though Alliance get 25% bonus almost none of us turn it on because of how unbelievably outnumbered we are.

Hello,

Nothing stops you from progressing your character or mythic raiding as Alliance.

Let’s be specific. The Alliance population? It’s not bad right now, but it will be bad if the current trend continues.

Some 46% of the game plays Alliance. That’s still millions of players. There is no shortage of active Alliance raiding guilds. I could leave my current 10/12M guild and go trial for 10 others.

However, if people keep talking about the trend of Horde having all of the good raiders, that Alliance has no players, people will keep believing that, and more will go Horde, making it true.

Are we talking about DPS?
Void Elf? Uh no. Decent racial for DPS and healing, bad for tanking.
Dark Iron has the worst racial for DPS. They only fit at tanking.
Mechagnomes? Not really OP in anything, tanking maybe? Have to wait and see since there not alot of people playing them at the moment.
In conclusion, none of them has OP racials that fit well in high-end mythic raid and M+ scene.

It’s almost like these kind of threads are super disingenuous.

Hello.
The entire raiding population on Alliance on my server died over the last two years.

Pay for my transfer for my main and alts to Proudmoore or Sargeas and you can claim this. Thanks.

well i mean its true. the good players go to the horde. this is the case for pvp and pve. i mean have you ever actually won multiple BGS in one day on an alliance character? ik ive consequtively never lost for multiple days in a row on horde thats for sure

The disparity isn’t that big, but the WM disparity is MASSIVE. I think this is part of the reason the impression that Alliance is severely underpopulated exists.

On my Horde toons, I level 1-120 without ever turning it off. At the start of the expansion, I leveled my first two Alliance toons without ever turning it off. I just never had a reason to turn it off. World PvP happened and it was fun and felt pretty good.

Now? No. No Alliance toon of mine will ever turn it on again. War Mode WoW feels like a Horde zerg in every part of the world. Nope. Nothing at all fun about it, and when they see the rare Alliance player in her natural habitat, they all “squirrel!” on it with excitement, and it’s just a 10-on-1 nightmare.

I think that might have a part to play in the false impressions.

Why don’t you pay for your transfer to Sargeras or Stormrage or Proudmoore? My entire guild came from Burning Blade mid MoP. We did this because we wanted to raid.

I don’t think your guild wants to raid.

Stop the excuses Alliance, and go raid.

I think most of the posters are correct in saying that a large population goes Horde for M+ and raids. But honestly I think higher pop casuals are Alliance. On my Horde side, I rarely see players leveling alts BUT on my Alliance side, no matter what time of day I always see tons of players leveling alts, doing WC, grinding reps.
